Luke waited. He stood outside of the 5sos house. He waited and and waited and nothing happened? About an hour ago he got a text from Michael and that was it.
To: Mikey
Where are you??
He waited 10 minutes.. No reply
To: Mikey
Come on. Please don't be mad at me. We need to talk
No reply. He sighed and sat on the steps. He sighed and stared up at the stars. He regretted everything he did to Michael. Brittany told Luke that Michael had hit her. But luke was a dumbass and didn't get michaels side of the story.
"Lukey what are you doing out here?" Brittany asked while stepping outside and walking towards the sad but confused boy. He stood up and glared at her.
"Did Michael really hit you?" He asked her.
"Ye--"
"Did Michael really hit you!?" He snapped and the red haired girl looked scared. She looked down
"no" luke shook his head
"Luke you don't need him! He's dead weight" she said walking up to the boy gently setting a arm on him.
Luke was beyond furious. Not only did he break the boys heart. Now he hit him and had this stupid girlfriend bitch. He pushed her arm off him
"The only dead weight is you" he said and it was silent for a few minutes until he heard ambulance sirens. He looked over and saw an ambulance driving fast down the street. Suddenly getting an uneasy feeling
He looked confused but walked down the stairs and down the street. Brittany following him.
"Where are you going?" She asked him but he ignored her. He walked to the end of the street and went left and saw there was a car accident.
"Oh my god" Brittany whispered.
Luke ran over to the car accident scene to see what happened but stopped when he realized who's car it was and stopped feeling his stomach drop.
It was Michaels car
Luke ran around frantically looking for Michael. He stopped when he saw a body laying on the ground. He ran over to the body. It was Michael
"Michael!" Luke cried out and flopped down next to the bloody boy.
"Please please wake up!" Luke said while shaking him and crying. Luke gently set his head against his chest and faintly still heard a heart beat. He sighed in relief
"HELP! COME HELP HIM" Luke screamed to the paramedics they came rushing over pushing luke out of the way.
Luke watched as they place him on the stretcher and rushed him into the ambulance. Luke stood up and ran over with them
"Are you a family member?" A paramedic asked
"No but I'm his boyf--"
"Only family members allowed. We are going to south Wales hospital down the street" with that Luke started running towards the hospital
He ran and ran and ran but stopped and tried to breath. He was trying to breath while he was sobbing. He can't believe it. He might never see Michael ever again and the last time he saw michael is when he hurt him. A car horn startled the boy
"Get in!" It was Brittany he ran over and got in the car. Still having tears roll down his face.
"The hospital is 5 minutes away" she said then started driving. He put his face in his hands and tried to calm down but it was not working.
"Luke i have something to tell you" Brittany whispered. He looked over at her and she reached under her seat and there was a set of letters. no..
"Michael did write to you" she said and handed me the letters. He wrote more than luke wrote to him. That just caused him to brake down
"h-how did you g-get these?" He asked in between cries.
"I took them. Because I wanted you to be with me" she whispered luke had enough. He began sobbing again
Brittany had gone to the post office every day to take the letters between the two boys. She had a plan to have Luke be hers but she felt more guilty as days went by. Now she feels even more guilty knowing that michael might not even live.
"I'm so sorry Luke" she whispered then stopped at the front of the hospital. He just wanted to never see her again. She ruined Luke and Michaels life.
The receptionist saw Luke run in.
"Michael Clifford" he said and she looked at the name on the computer.
"They just rushed him in to surgery about 5 minutes ago. a doctor will come out. For now just wait here. The cafateria is closed but there's coffee over there" she said and he nodded and sat in a chair in the waiting room
He quickly texted ashton and calum telling them to come to the hospital ASAP. But then his eyes landed on the pile of letters laying on the chair next to him.
"Is there a Luke here?" A nurse asked and Luke stood up and ran over to her. She smiled sadly at the boy
"We found this in Michaels jacket. I opened the first page and it said dear luke. So I'm guessing this is for you" she said while handing Luke the beaten up journal.
"They are doing everything they can" she said sadly but he just nodded and sat down. He looked between the journal and letters and decided to read the journal

After an hour of Luke reading the journal he was in tears all over again. He never meant to cause his best friend so much pain. He wish he could tell him how he loved him but it's to late. Calum and Ashton came about 30 minutes ago. Luke went up to the receptionist and got a pen
