"say ahh," soobin, my boyfriend tells me, holding the spoon with ice cream on it. i glare at him but soon broke down and let out a chuckle, "you're so childish." i complained, slash complimented him. i like being with soobin, his attitude never changes, it's like he's born and raised and forever living the way he is now.
i open my mouth as he airplane-makes the spoon's way inside, "perfect landing!" he smiled widely, chuckling. i smile at him as i melt the ice cream inside my mouth. the mood was good until i took a small glance on the table behind soobin.
park eunbin.
i froze for a moment but i didn't want to make it obvious for our group that i knew about this issue, so i just smiled again at soobin, pretending i didn't see nothing. "like it?" he asked, i nodded awkwardly, then he added "of course you do!" with a smile.
cheating. what a word. what an action.
i avert my gaze towards my friends, and they looked at me with awkward faces. it's probably because eunbin is on the other table? this close? and they think i don't have a single clue about all this shit? well, you guys are wrong because i'm a motherfucking detective. and even though i'm proud of being aware, because of that, it.. hurts.
"hey, yunhee," gaeun, called me out, sliding her hand from her side of the table to reach mine, holding onto my hand. "did you find your old mp3 player?" she asked. i shook my head, answering, "not yet." while a little nervous inside, but why am i even nervous? it's not like i'm the one who's lying around here- it's not like i'm the cheater! i gulped on my saliva. as expected, the ice cream is too sweet for my throat, and now i feel like throwing up with all of this going on.
soobin's not the only one cheating here. you thought i had a good relationship with my friends, didn't you? but no. they're involved in this cheating mess, and they're actually the ones who introduced eunbin to my boyfriend, and the ones who tolerated him cheating behind my back.
i stand up and let soobin's arm fall from my shoulder, "i'll go to the bathroom real quick," i told them, smiling. they smiled back and told me to safely make my way there, and that made me feel a little.. dizzy.
i reach the part of the cafeteria where they wouldn't see me and i placed my palm on the wall, looking down at the ground, trying to calm myself down. here we go again with the dizzy trip to nowhere. the noise of students chatting from the distance started to get louder in my head. i want to lie down on the ground.. and maybe pass out.
but then, a voice snapped me out of my mind. "excuse me.." i saw some male's feet stop beside me. his voice really stood out, and i was looking at him with my attention at the other side of the universe.
