Entry 14

Lauren took me on a date oday!

Today was a Sunday and Lauren called me this morning.

"Hi Emily, do you wanna g-go on a date today?" he said on the phone.

"Of course I do!" I replied.

"Okay, be ready at 8 and I'll pick you up."

"Should I dress formally or casually?"

"Anything that suits my lady."

Okay, why is he SO DAMN SWEET????

I was super happy! It was 7:00. Which meant that I had one hour to get ready. I straightened my hair, wore a little makeup, and wore a black dress.

Then, I was waiting for Lauren.

"OooOoohh why are you all dressed up, Emy-chan?" my sister asked with a huge smirk on her face.

"I'm going on a date with my new boyfriend, Lauren."

"Alright, sweety. Have a great day. Is he handsome?"

"Mhm. And he's only mine...."

That was when the door bell rang. It was Lauren!

I opened the door and gave him a big hug. He was wearing a black shirt and was holding flowers.

"These are for you." he said smiling and blushing as always.

I held his hand and we both started walking to the park.

After what had happened yesterday, Lauren and I just couldn't stop staring at each other...

I broke the silence.

"Do you wanna go for ice cream? I brought some money with me." I asked.

"Sure, but I'll pay." he replied.

"No, I'll pay. Deal with it."

"Oh come one, I'll pay for your ice cream. Please let me."

"Nuh uh. My idea, my rules."

"Alright, I'll see about that."

And then, he gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"What the heck Lauren?" I said.

"What do you m-mean? Did I do anything wrong?"

"No, that wasn't enough."

"What wasn't enou-"

And then I pulled him close and kissed him on the lips. And he kissed me back, after 10 seconds. Yes, in public. And yes, I know I'm crazy. But I needed to let mah boy know how much I love him, ahaha.

After that, his face turned red and he was covering his entire face his hankerchief. Lol.

After that, we went for ice cream. And he paid.

I got chocolate flavoured ice cream and he got vanilla. Yum!

After a lot of giggling and chatting, Lauren took me to his place and we played video games all day.

It was a lot of fun! I was pretty sad when it was time to leave but, I guess I'll meet him tomorrow at school anyways, right?

I'm really excited to meet him tomorrow. But right now, I have to finish my math homework.
