Entry 10 (Part 2)

I wasn't able to update my diary but here's what happened next.

After school was over, I tried to talk to Alex. But she ignored me and left the classroom. How did I know that she was ignoring me? Well, she was RIGHT NEXT TO ME. And I was saying, "Hey Alex, Alex, Alex!"

Well, that was enough. I have decided to never try and talk to her ever again.

I felt really bad. Lauren came upto me and asked me if I was okay. I nooded and we both packed our bags.

I had already told mom that we were gonna be out. So, that meant that I could go to Lauren's directly.

We both walked to his home. And, I got changed because I HATE MY DAMN UNIFORM.

He wore some shorts and a black t- shirt. I wore a green shirt and a blue skirt.

He told me that I looked pretty and I started blushing for absolutely no reason.

Something tells me that this boy likes me. But I'm not sure.

We both teleported to Wefeld with the weird bracelet that Jessica gave us.

When we arrived, we saw Jessica already waiting there for us. Then, she pulled Lauren aside and they started whispering.

Tbh, I really wanted to know what they were talking about. I saw Lauren blushing a lot. And sadly, I couldn't hear their conversation. The only word I heard clearly was "secret"

What were they hiding from me? Sometimes, I just don't know what that boy is upto.

We all went to Jessica's place, just like we planned.

Her house was really pretty. She offered us some food and let us talk for a while. She got out the room for about ten minutes.

Lauren was still red as a tomato and I really wanted to ask him why. But, I stopped myself from that.

He asked me a weird question.

"Do you like someone?" he asked.

"W-what? Me? No, I don't. But why?" I asked in a perplexed way.

"N-no, just asking." he said nervously.

"Do you have a crush on someone?" 😏 I asked.

"Y-yeah. But the girl I like doesn't know that. Because I never got the chance to tell her..." he replied.

I don't know why, but I felt like I had been shot with a gun. But why? Why was I feeling blue???

"Who is she?" I asked nervously.

" It's-" he was about to tell me but then, Jessica bursted into the room and he didn't want to talk about it anymore...

"W-who do you like, Lauren?" I asked again.

"Forget about it." he said with a sigh.

I couldn't understand why he didn't want to tell me. Could it be that he's with Alex? No, I should stop thinking about it. That could never happen. Or could it??

Jessica brought some us baked cookies.

"I baked them for you guys. I'm sorry for the long wait though," she smiled and said.

"Delicious!" Lauren and I yelled.

After finishing those delicious cookies, Jessica took us to the anicient home of the Barabel twins.

"Mr Barabel, are you in there?" she knocked and said in a playful tone.

An old wizard wearing a blue hat opened the door.

"Hello my dear Jessica, what brings you here?" he smiled and said.

That must have been Mr Barabel.

Jessica and Mr Barabel started a conversation which lasted for about 10 minutes.

Lauren and I were getting pretty bored so we looked around the place and I asked him, "Lauren, are you hiding something from me?"

His face became red like he was exposed or something. "O-of course not. W-why would y-you think that?" he said laughing nervously...

"No specific reason. Just asking, I guess." I said, also laughing nervously.

We both had an awkward silence for about 10 seconds and then I asked, "Do you have an ex?"

"Well, no. I was never in a relationship before. I mean, I was really popular in my old school and a lot of girls were crushing on me. But I had my eye for one girl only. And she didn't like me back. So, I gave up. Until... I came to this school..."

"Could you please tell me who this girl is? Please? I won't tell anyone!" I begged.

"She's in our class, really pretty, clumsy, can be a slacker sometimes. But she has a good heart." he blushed a lot.

"BUT I DON'T KNOW ANYONE WHO'S CLUMSY, A SLACKER, AND PRETTY ALL AT THE SAME TIME, LAUREN! Please, just tell me who it is!" I yelled.

I still have no idea, but U was getting pretty jealous if this girl. It's not like I like Lauren in THAT way, or do I??

Anyways, he just shrugged and excused himself to the bathroom.

Jessica came up to me and gave a huge book to hold. It was literally as big as my entire body.

We waited for Lauren and when he came, his face was wet. Because he washed his face.

He looked at Jessica and started smiling and blushing AGAIN.

So, I think that he has a crush on Jessica?!

We all returned to Jessica's place and then Jessica started panicking.

"Portals and bangs..portal and bangs..WHERE IS IT?!" she muttered.

"Maximus la skito..no....papira lamkiso...nope...akasitos kopila.. Ugh!" she added.

"Is there something wrong, Jessica?" Lauren asked.

"Yes, there's a huge problem. The chapter on Portals and Bangs are supposed to be on page 5567. But, those pages are missing!" she said nervously.

"Oh no, aren't there any extra copies of it?" I asked...

"I'm assuming not. What do we do now?" she screamed.

"We could go to the Barabel twins, right?" Lauren asked.

"I'm afraid not. They're on their break right now and everyone in Wefeld knows that the Barabel twins don't stay at home at this time." she replied with a deep sigh.

"You guys can come over later if you want. I'll handle this for now." she added.

We gave her a hug and left Wefeld.

Lauren waved at me awkwardly and I waved back. And then, we no went back to our respective homes.
