Witch or Human?

Entry three

I woke up REALLY late today. I totally FREAKED OUT when I looked at my alarm clock. I must have presed the 'Snooze' button WAY too many times.

I was half aleep, so when when I walked downstairs, I tripped on one of my sister's toy trains. And don't even ask me why she has a huge toy train collection, because I have no idea either. Anyways, my toe hurt like HELL.

Note to self: Remember to wake myself up completely before rushing to school

The reason why I have to remember this is because of the past incidents that had to occur because of my dumb sleeping habits.

One time,  I was SO late for school that I got up half alsleep and ran down the stairs way too fast and broke my arm and my leg. I couldn't go to school for the next few weeks and by the time it was time for me to go back to school, I fell back way behind and ended up getting a C. So, I had to spend my entire summer in summer school and to be honest, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Another time, I went to school half asleep and ended up in the wrong classroom and somehow ended up giving out muffins to all the 10th graders and sat NEXT to my Ex. Everyone started a food fight with those muffins and I ended up getting a detention.

Back to the story:

I woke up completely after tripping on my elder sister's dumb toy train. Then, I got changed real quick, took my bag and ran to school.

When I got to school, it was already 2nd period.

The teacher started yelling at me and told me to take a seat. But there was only one seat left. And I ended up sitting next to Lauren the new kid.

It was pretty awkward at first because we both realized that we'd have to sit next to each other for the REST OF THE YEAR?!

Okay, so basically, so far, I can tell that Lauren is probably the opposite of me.

He's pretty shy, he likes studying and he doesn't TALK much. I'm kinda pissed off that Alex didn't want me to sit next to her. Kinda makes sense though, we had a fight last summer.

What happened? Well, it's a pretty long story. I'll bring it up later in my diary.

Anyways, after class, Lauren and I had a conversation with each other.

"Heyy Lauren, how's school?"

"Uhhhh...pretty boring, I guess."

"Ohhhh I see..."

"What's your name?"
"Oh, me? I'm Emily Thomas. Nice to meet you.."

"Nice to meet you too."

And then..well..we both awkwardly stared at the wall because we had ABSOLUTELY nothing to talk about.

After that, it was lunch time and as usual, I locked myself in the bathroom until it was ALL over.

In my school, you either sit on the messy floor or on one of the chairs; there's nothing in between. And to be honest, I don't think any of the options are great because you either sit on the disgusting floor, which doesn't get cleaned up very often because the school can't hire enough janitors, or you sit down on one of the chairs and end up sitting next to a complete weirdo.

So, I go for option 3 (which is locking myself inside the bathroom until it's over)

The next period was Math and it was held by a teacher I don't know. I heard that Mrs. Beth took a day off because her cat got stuck on a tree. And then, she went to save it by CLIMBING the tree and fell down and ended up breaking her arms. So, this new teacher is gonna fill in for us and...I don't know why but I hate her already...
