Chapter 7: Meeting the Royals

Claudia's POV

I looked around the library and found an interesting book about ancient period. It was really a big mystery where magic originated. Maraming mga teksto, scrolls at mga libro ang prinoduce kaso kahit isa wala talagang nakakapagsabi. However, I found a book which peaks my attention. Pagkabukas ko ng libro may lumabas na serye ng mga salita sa ere.

"Love is the only way to make my life peaceful." I muttered as I read it.

I went back on reality as I was tapped by Sapphire on my back.

"May problema ba?"

"None. It's nothing."sabi ko.

"Kanina pa kita tinatawag but you're really in deep thought. I'm really worried."

"I'm just thinking about the Book of Origin."

"Oh. That one. It was really a tragic history. People wants power so that's why they can betray the person who helped them and give them life. When I read that book, I realized that jealousy and love can really blind a person."saad nito habang nakatingin sa kawalan. 

I tried to change the topic but it doesn't work.

"You know I'll tell you something. You need to set them free and let them decide what they want."bulong ni Sapphire.

Naguluhan naman ako dahil minsan may mga bagay talaga si Sapphire na sinasabi that doesn't make sense at all.

"Tara na nga we need to go on our room."saad ni Sapphire at hinila ako palabas ng library.

Naghiwalay na kami ni Sapphire dahil magkaiba kami ng klase. Dumiretso na kami ni Jane sa Spell's Class.

"Okay, now our lesson is all about an ancient curse. Today, we will only learn about its background and how its work. You can say we'll be learning about a taboo spell but its a downgrade because we can't use the original one.

"I'll start. Hold a rabbit's foot charm and say this 13 times" With rabbits foot and magic verse, I turn around this wicked curse, As these words of mine are spoken."

"That is the first verse of the spell. Because of the time, nabago na ang version na'to kaya naman di ko masasabi kung effective ba 'to o hindi. There's a tale about this named "A Rabbit's Hole". The story starts when a beautiful fairy picked up a wounded rabbit. As the time passed by, the rabbit never left the fairy. So, because of its loyalty, the fairy gave the rabbit a power. However, as the rabbit begun to have a will to choose.  At dyan nagtatapos ang storya dahil naputol ito dahil sa kasagsagan ng digmaan ilang taon na ang nakakalipas."kuwento ni Ms. Witch.

"Also, there's also some records lying somewhere na it was used by a Crown Wizard (Royalty) but it doesn't have a strong evidence to support the report."

Tumango naman ako at nagtake down notes in case of quiz. Lumipas ang tatlong oras at gumawa kami ng mga simple magic circle activation. I was really curious sa unang topic na sinabi ni Ms. Witch. It somehow looks familiar to me.

"Claudia! Rose Claudia Young!"

"Bakit ba?"

"Aber, anong bakit-bakit? Hinihintay na tayo nung dalawa. Kanina ka pa nakatulala sa notes mo."

"Sorry ."
