This is it, I pondered as I took a deep breath, this is the final battle I would have to face. I already know that Dire is about to accept Lady Fate, but I must do something to prevent his curtains from closing the act. Even though we've only met, he still has a strong connection with Zeppeli long before me or JoJo know the arts of hamon. I wanted to defeat Dio with a burning passion to save JoJo's legacy, his optimism, his future...but it would lead to the risk of making my tragic bow. Now that I'm here, facing against a twisted doppelganger, I don't know what to do to stop him; my body breathes out the bravery of a hero, but my mind caused me to have a major conflict with myself... Keep it together...I know that I could face him somehow...if I could just deliver this vampire some damage from my sound waves...

"Step aside, chaps," Dire said to us, "I will handle this fiend myself."

He slowly approached Dio, which got me so concerned about his fate that my earring began to flash and gradually build up a storm in my head. I tried to stay strong and stop myself from suffering the reoccurring corruption by gritting my teeth. JoJo saw me struggling to stand properly and wanted to help me badly, but he focused on Dire's movements within a split second.

Dire launched himself in the air and performed a slow kick on the vampire. It appears that the fiend was able to catch his foot, but it was a trick!

"You fell for it, fool!"

Dire's exclamation, despite the fact that it cries out victory, worsen my headache even more. I sucked my breath and panted with anguish as I predicted what will happen after his winning strike. I clenched my head tightly and faced down to bare with this corrupted condition. JoJo began to sweat with concern hearing my pants reverb in the balcony more than any other noise.

"D.....Dire....." I mumbled his name through my teeth repeatedly while an aura began to surround my body. I couldn't watch the scene unfold before my eyes.... This will turn out badly for Zeppeli and the others...to see an old friend of Zeppeli seal his fate for the life of him...

My corrupted features appeared as my pants turn into squirms; hair lengthening down past my shoulders, eyes glowing gold, markings exposing on my face and hands, and tints of lilac staining my lips like lipstick.

Dire put his arms in a shape of an 'x' and imbue them with hamon before his coup de grâce.

"Thunder Cross Split Attack!"

"N-No..." I uttered out with my tears falling down my cheeks.

Right before the man was about to hit Dio with the final blow, his feet became frozen solid as I ran up to the scene.

"DIRE!" I cried out his name while everyone gasped in horror at his awakening fate.

Time soon grinds to a halt right before the frost hits his torso and lungs. My hamon infused bow was drawn out of my back when I was about to make a leap towards Dio's arms. The bow slashed through both of the vampire's arms and then I withdrew it so I could carry Dire's semi-frozen body away from Dio's eclipse.

Time resumed and the vampire was squirming in pain while Dire looked up to me in confusion.

"W-why did you did that?" The man asked disappointingly before he groaned from the pain from his arid legs.

"I don't want another brave soul to be manipulated by fate like a puppet." I replied as my corruption dissolved, "You are a strong friend to Zeppeli and I don't want this bond to break by the grim reaper!"

"Hmph, you ruined my chance to finish Dio off."

"I'm trying to save your life, Dire."

His legs hurt even more and caused him to bite his lip tightly.
