Chapter 28

"Jennie unnie" Chaeyoung knocks on the door. "Jennie unnie" she calls again.

"Has she woken up yet?" she utters. When she was about to call Jennie again.

Someone's voice heard, "Who are you?".

The man stares at her from head to toes. "What are doing in the early morning in front of Jennie's condo?" he continues.

"I'm Jennie's unnie friend and I come here to visit her" Chaeyoung responds nervously.

"Jennie's friend?" he furrows.

"Ye...yes" she stutterers, a small smile at him.

"I've never seen you before" he said suspiciously.

"Is it Chae?" Jennie yells from inside. She opens the door, "Chae".

"Tae" Jennie moves her eyes to the man.

"Come inside" Jennie tells them. They step in and walk toward the living room, but Taehyung is carrying something, so he walks to the kitchen first.

"Jennie unnie, who is that Tae guy?" Chaeyoung sits down.

"It's a long story, I'll tell you next time okay" Jennie replies. Chaeyoung nods her head in reply.

After a few minutes ago, Taehyung came out of the kitchen with a tray that has a bowl and a glass of orange juice. He puts it on the table, then he walks to sit down in front of them, "Umm Jennie, this is your breakfast".

"Thank you" Jennie grins at Taehyung back. Chaeyoung looks at both of them in suspicion because of their weird behaviour toward each other. Especially, Jennie, she didn't get along with the man, but with this guy, she looks different.

"By the way, I'm sorry for earlier that I sound rude to you because I thought that you're lying" he apologized, stood up.

"Ye-yes, that's okay I don't mind it" she replied, smiled at him too.

"Let get to know each other" he suggested.

"I'm Kim Taehyung, Tae for short, nice to meet you" he said, holding his for a shake.

"I'm-I'm-I'm" she strangled.

She was considering what she should tell him her full name or not, it made her feel uncomfortable, but he has already introduced his full name so maybe it's a polite way to tell her full name back to him.

She looked at Jennie who is staring at her, raise her brows a bit. And also Taehyung is smiling at her, still hold his hand out for waiting for her reply back.

"I'm Park-Park Chaeyoung, call me Chae for short, nice to meet you too, Tae" she said completely, shake his hand.

"Chae, your surname is the same as my friend surname" he said smile.

"You seem older than me, so I should call you Oppa I guess" she said. He smiles for a reply. Then, They release their hands and back to the seat.

"Why today you so early, Tae?" Jennie asks Taehyung.

"I want to buy your favourite food for you" he replies, shrug. "You know that shop that sells your favourite food how is it, if I'm late, I couldn't buy it for you" he continues.

"So, you're early to buy it for me" she said in excitement, cover her mouth. He nods.

"You should eat now before it's cold" Taehyung said.

"Okay" Jennie responds.

"Ah! I almost forgot to ask you, Chae" Jennie realises.

"Have you eaten breakfast yet because you're so early too" Jennie questions. "And you Tae, have you eaten breakfast yet?" Jennie asks Taehyung.

"I haven't eaten any yet" she replies, intertwines her fingers together.

"I'm already" Taehyung replies.

"Sorry Chae, I don't know you come so I bought only one" he apologizes.

"That's okay Oppa, I just come unexpectedly, it's not your fault so you shouldn't apologize to me" she reassures.

"So Chae, you can eat with me" Jennie offers.

"No thank you unnie, I'm not hungry yet" she refuses. "But-" she cuts Jennie.

"I'll have breakfast soon, but you should eat now because you had to take a pill, right unnie?" she excuses.

"Okay" Jennie nods.

"Besides, I want to get to know Taehyung Oppa first while you're eating" she adds, grin.

Jennie agrees by nod her head, then Jennie starts eating breakfast while she and Taehyung start making conversation. They both seem to get along with each other so well.
