"You literally just got back from Paris and now your going to the States?" Jeno complained. Areum went to go visit her friend since it has been a while.
"I know. But you know how this job works. I'm always traveling. I barely even got to see everyone from our friend group yet." She said. Jeno and Areum were laying down on his bed, with a movie in the background.
"Have you seen Haechan yet?" He asked. She shook her head.
"I haven't called or texted. And he hasn't come to visit yet. I don't think he wants to see me." She said, braiding his hair. Jeno looked up at her.
"He does want to see you. He asks about you all the time. He wants to know if you are okay." He said. She stopped braiding his hair.
"He does?" She asked. Jeno nodded.
"He misses you a lot. But he told me that he broke up with you for a good reason." He said. Areum nodded.
"I guess." She mumbled. They sat in silence for a while.
"Areum go meet your mom" He said. Areum rolled her eyes.
"For the last time Jeno. I won't be there long enough to see her. And I am not planning on visiting her. She's probably working her ass of in a diner somewhere." She said. Jeno scoffed.
"You don't know that"
"Most girls who are pregnant as a teenager don't go very far." She said. Jeno sighed.
"Areum you're gonna regret it. I swear to you, Areum. Please go see her. You need to tell her how you feel. She needs to explain the whole reason. Y-you don't even know who your father is!" He said. She blinked her tears away.
"Areum please promise me you will try. You don't have to, but don't dismiss the chance." He said. She nodded.
"I promise." She said.
"I need you to promise me one more thing. I know you and Mark are now trying something. But please don't rush into things. I don't want to see him leave you again." He said. She kissed the top of his forehead.
"I promise" She said. She got off the bed, soon leaving to go finish work.

"So how had business been going?" Mrs. Lee asked. Areum nodded.
"It's been pretty well." Mark said. Areum and Mark had been invited over to dinner with their parents. Mark had been blabbering about the funds when Haechan walked into the grand dining room.
"Oh son! Come join us." Mr. Lee said. Haechan nodded, walking over to the table, avoiding eye contact with Areum. Areum looked up at him.
"Areum, are you alright? You haven't touched your food?" Mrs. Lee said. She looked over.
"Oh uh... I guess I got used to all the different dishes in Paris." She said. They chuckled softly. Haechan smiled.
"Have both of you been adjusting to the way things work?" Mr. Jung asked. Again, Areum just nodded.
"You should see Areum. She's like a whole different person at work. She really knows how to lead. You would be proud." Mark said. Areum looked up at Mrs. Jung. She continued to eat her meal as if there wasn't a conversation going on.
"Yeah. Some people would be proud." Areum mumbled, loud enough for her to hear it. Mrs. Jung cleared her throat, taking a sip of whine.
"May I be excused?" Areum asked.
