Chapter 8 pt.3

"Come on Mark!" Haechan said. Areum giggled as she watched the two brothers fight on the other side of the pool. Mark sighed.

"Fine! Areum!" He yelled. Areum looked over at him. He ran towards the pool he jumped high in the air and landed in the water. Areum covered her face. She watched him swim towards her. Areum blushed when he pulled his hair back, exposing his forehead.

"Now I don't have to go in the pool because you got me all wet!" She said, pulling her hair back. Haechan looked at them.

"I bet he did get you wet." Haechan said, wiggling her eyebrows. She kicked water in his direction. Mark chuckled.

"When are you gonna put your whole body in the pool? Your toes are probably gonna get pruny." Mark said. She let out a small laugh.

"Why you worried about my toes?" She asked. Mark shook his head.

"So dirty minded. You've been hanging out with my brother a lot." He said. She giggled. He moved closer to her.

"Come on! The water is really nice." He said. She laughed. He put his arms on either side of her on the ledge of the pool. She was trapped in between his arms.

"I-i'll go swimming later." She said slowly moving back. She started to get nervous. He moved his face loser to hers.

"What about," He said. He put his arms around her waist. She gasped.

"You go in the water now?" He said. She widened her eyes.

"Mark not you too!" She yelled. He pulled her up and into the water. Areum came up for air. She accidentally inhaled water and started coughing. He started laughing.

"You good?" He asked. She grabbed onto his shoulders and wrapped her arms around her neck.

"You... and Haechan are the same.... Person, I swear!" She said, gasping for air. He laughed.

"I know," He said. When she calmed down, she looked at him in the eye. He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Y-you might slip." He said. She smiled. Their faces were only a few inches apart. Areum wanted to let go of all the negative thoughts and doubts about him and just wanted to kiss him. She stared at his eyes and then his lips.

"Um I kind of want to-" Mark said.

"Yeah. Me too." She said. She moved closer to him.

"It's Just" He moved away. She looked at him, and bit her lip. He looked at her with apologetic eyes.

"I don't know anything about you." he said. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Wh-what do you mean?" She asked. He sighed.

"I don't know a single thing about you. I didn't even know when your birthday is. How am I gonna be with you, and talk about you when I don't know you?" He asked. She let go of him and broke eye contact.

"Y-yeah. I guess so." She said. She swam to the end of the pool and pulled herself up from the ledge. Mark sighed as he watched her walk towards her towel.

They were all out of the pool by this time. Areum was sitting With Haechan, Jeno and Mina. They watched Mark talk with Jaehyun and his friends. She sighed.

" 'I know nothing about you.' Please" She said, mocking Mark. Haechan chuckled.

"The point of this marriage is to fulfill the company binding. Not actually fall in love." She said. Mina looked at her.
