Yhidawach

Yhidawach had made his way down the Silent Cathedral, going north to Ephrastill... on horseback. With the sound restored to the land around the structure, the animals can now actually survive.

Jacob galloped into the Silent Cathedral and waited in front of the north gate for his rider.

Yhidawach sheathed his blade after dousing the fire with his hand.

He walked down the wide steps of the Silent Cathedral, until he reached the bottom and climbed on Jacob's back.

Jacob ran like the wind towards the mountain.

...

It was getting colder and colder with each step, but the two monsters didn't stop nor slow in the Place Where Time Stands Still.

Soon they reached the entrance to Ephrastill's cave.

Jacob was too large to pass through so the two companions parted.

"Wait for me at the foot of the mountain, Jacob."

The war-horse nuzzled against the plate of his master and began cantering down the mountain he just climbed.

The cave was completely frozen, but the ice was easy to walk on.

Much like the Silent Cathedral before it, this mountain was eerily quiet, but it was a natural silence, the snow absorbed every sound and couldn't be shaken off by any vibration, the ice reflected everything clearly like a mirror, it felt like the world itself couldn't change this place, let alone a single knight.

Truly the place where time stands still, its name is very fitting and gives a clear description of the otherworldly beauty the mountain contains.

The rustling of chains is heard as Yhidawach makes his way deeper.

He steps into the sanctum of the mountain.

Walls, decorated walls, chiseled into the ice, stairs too. The sanctum feels more like a tower made by some madman with a chisel and hammer than a force of nature, but it is still grotesquely detailed, and the rustling of the chains comes from the very bottom.

Yhidawach walked down the icy steps, the shaking getting louder and louder as he descends the floors.

Ephrastill was insanely tall. You could see the mountain from every country as long as you looked north, even the farthest away ones could see its peak. It was at least nine thousand meters tall.

Regardless, the path down was quicker than the travel up.

Soon he was face to face with the last land-dragon alive.

Apparently he's pretty old for land-dragons; he was chained by dragons, his winged brethren.

And right now he is the last of all dragon-kind.

He was absurdly large, three castle's height in length alone and about as wide.

Of course the only place he could be chained in would be this mountain; his tooth was likely twice as tall as Yhidawach.

The chains were clearly broken... but something was off.

He had wings, four pairs to be exact, he couldn't stretch them out in this space but he definitely had them.

"A single human steps into my prison cell... Shall we exchange pleasantries?" The hulking, white scaled beast spoke; his voice reverberated through the mountain, his red eyes focused on the knight brave enough to still stand in front of him.
