Loud Mind [poetry]

Alone

There is power
in being alone.
Standing strong
all on your own.
A voice inside
tells you you've won.
No more doubts
from now on.

When you can't walk
you'll learn to crawl.
The barriers around you,
you'll crush them all.
Whatever comes,

you'll be okay.
And when you're lost
you'll find a way.

Alone, all alone,
Just you and
your heart of stone.
Embrace it, don't be sad
Forget about
what you could've had.
You have regrets,
but it's too late,
You can't go back
and fix your mistake.
So be happy
and smile instead.
When no one's here
be your own friend.
