☀️2 Months Later☀️

The group was currently having one of their last hang sessions before it was time for them to leave for their new lives in college.

All of them were at Louis and Janel's home. Which were their mother's home. Since Louis was leaving for school, Christian suggested that Janel live there with them and Louis stay till it's time to go.

"Are you guys ready to go off to college?" Sofia asked them.

"Honestly? Yes, my mama been getting on my nerves lately." Philly said.

"I was hoping Santana would propose before y'all left, but I guess not." Janel shrugged.

"Proposed to who? My mama? Nah, I like him now and all, but he not marrying my mama." Philly said surely.

"You know your mom's a grown woman, right?" Louis asked. "What makes you think she's gonna listen to you?" He questioned.

"Man whatever. She's not ready."

"You're not ready," Louis said sarcastically. "But I'm ready to leave, I really thought I would be able to put with these kids, but I can't."

Dani has been an absolutely cry baby and the twins do nothing but fight the entire time Louis and Janel have lived here.

Louis did love these kids but damn, shut the fuck up!

"Well lucky for you you leaving this week." Sofia laughed.

"And I'm going to cry again," Janel said.

"Girl stop all tha crying. We still here... till we not." Zen said.

"Yeah yeah. Let's have fun before you guys have to leave me." They all laughed because Janel reminded them once again that they were leaving her.

The week consisted of them having all types of fun like going to Six Flags, Dave & Busters, going to the movies, had their own lil kickback. They even snuck into parties they weren't invited to.

Just know these kids had fun.

Then the day came where it was time for Philly to leave. Things between him and Janel haven't been going as good as before. Ever since Janel has found he was going away, she's distant herself from Philly and her friend.

But that made Philly feel some type of way because they're in a relationship. Janel been giving him dry answers and not telling him.

If she doing that while he still here, how she gon act when he gone?

Philly was currently in his room finishing packing up and putting things in his car, "I wanted to see you before you left." Janel said walking into his room. "We need to talk."

"Yeah, we do." Philly agreed.

"You go first." Janel was minding hoping he wanted to talk about the same thing as her.

"Ight." Philly took a breath. "We not how we used to be. I love you, Janel, I really do, but I need to know that we gon be on the same page while I'm gone. If not you need to tell me, don't keep distancing yourself."

"I agree and I'm so sorry about that," Janel said. "I love you too and I appreciate everything you have done for me and helped with," Janel emphasized. "I don't want to keep leading you and I know my head isn't in it."

"So what does this mean?" Philly asked.

"I-I think we should separate," Janel said. Philly's heart broke a little bit but not a lot because he agreed. Same with Janel. "I just didn't want to tell you because you've put up with me for so long."

"You know I don't mind any of that. You been my friend since we was little I still would have helped you, either way, Nelly."

Janel smiled, "so no hard feelings?"

"Nah we ain't got hard feelings. I hope you find someone you can give what you need." Philly hugged her.

"And I hope you find someone who can give you everything I couldn't." Janel hugged him back.

While things weren't as good with Janel and Philly, Louis and Zen have become the ultimate couple goal. It's been mentioned before, but these two just keep bringing the best out of each other.

"What do you think is going on with your sister and Phil?" Zen asked Louis.

"I don't know they'll tell us later."

"I'm so ready to go away with you," Zen said. Louis smiled at her, "what? Is that weird?"

"It's not weird, Zen. I'm ready to go away with you too." Louis said.

"This is going to be fun. Maybe we can..." She trailed off.

She bet not say make kids! Louis thought.

"Get an apartment together," Zen said finished. "But later on though."

"Oh, I wouldn't mind that at all," Louis said gratefully that she didn't say that.

"What did you think I was going to say?" Zen laughed.

"Nothing."

"Aye, y'all come say bye to me," Philly said busting in Zen's room.

They all went downstairs and outside to say bye and give their hugs. Like they weren't going to see each other ever again.

James and Rebecca were there as well to say bye, "Ima miss y'all ugly ass. I know y'all gon miss me too." Philly said.

"Not really." Louis joked.

"We cannot be like them dumb asses on "On My Block" and switch upon each other," Philly said.

"Hundred percent agree," James said.

"Good, answer me when I call and I mean that shit." Philly threatens.

"Okay, group hug!" Janel yelled as she pulled the group in for the hug.

Next, they knew it was time for James and Rebecca to go. Then Louis and Zen. But they all were ready for this new chapter in life. These kids aren't as scared as they were before

They had their fun while they were young.

They're ready for life.
