It's been an hour since Louis came to work. It's been a pretty slow day. He wasn't as annoyed as he usually was, which was a good thing. He wasn't paying attention to who came to his register, he was currently on his phone playing Mario Kart. He was getting beat by somebody named 爪卄ᗪҜ乂フ山.

"Oh my god, Louis?" Zen questioned. Louis lift his head to see Zen. Louis hated when people from school came to his work place. But when he seen Zen he could care less if she came everyday.

"Hey Zen." He said with a small smile. "What's up?" He said started ring up her items.

"Oh nun. I was just getting our thing for the project. I didn't know you worked here." She replied.

"I honestly didn't think you cared."

"Why wouldn't I care?" She asked. Zen was highly concerned about Louis. Every time they talked at school he would say no cares about or likes him.

"I told you at school, I don't get along with no there, except for two boys. I can't trust any of them."

"Well I know we only met today, but you can trust me." Zen said. Louis's head it's was like, hold on bitch I just met you, but his heart was like, I trust with you my life. Louis ain't know which one to listen too.

"That's good to know." He said. They were so caught up in talking he didn't realize he had another customer behind Zen.

"Excuse me, I have somewhere to be." A old man said. Louis at the old man then at the other registers, they barely had any customers in their lines.

"Man you better go to another line." Louis said.

"I should probably get home anyways. Saw it maybe raining and I don't want to walk in the rain. Your still coming to my place right?" Zen said as she grabbed her bags.

"Let me give you a ride?" Louis asked. Scared of her answer.

"You don't have to. You're working."

Louis checked his phone."I literally get off in 10 minutes. Can you wait 10 minutes?"

"Sure. I'll be over there at Starbucks." Zen said walking off. Louis didn't even notice he had three more customers. I really need to start paying attention, Louis thought.

15 minutes later

After checking out, he went to Starbucks seeing Zen scrolling on her phone. "Hi, sorry for the wait." He apologized.

"Don't be. You gotta do what you gotta do." She stood up and smiled at him. That smile, that smile maybe his favorite thing about Zen.

He cleared his throat after staring a little to long. "Are you ready?" Zen nodded her head. He grabbed the bags for her and lead her to his car. Opened the passenger door, she said thank you and they were off to her house.

On the way there it was silence, but a comfortable silence. Louis pulled up in her driveway. Zen's house was very much a mansion. "You leave here?" He asked as they got out the car.

"Yeah." She answered plainly.

"What does your dad do?"

"He's some criminal investigator. We travel a lot." She responded as if she had been asked that question a million times. Louis saw her mood change, so he left it alone. They walked into her house. "Pops! I'm back." She yelled.

A man voice yelled back. "Ok, I ordered some food. Should be here any minute."

"Come on. Let's go to my room." Zen lead the way upstairs to her room. When they got in there, there were a few box's laying around. "My bad for the mess."
