Louis and Janel were currently on their way to the location sent by Sofia. Janel was excited to see her mom for the first time in years, she couldn't stop rambling on about her. Louis on the other hand wasn't excited at all, he still had a weird feeling about all of this.

"Wow.... this is a nice home." Janel said while looking at the home in awe. Louis rolled his eyes. Of course she stay in this big ass house. Louis thought to himself.
Once they were parked they made their way up to the front door, "Louis can you try to be nice her?" Janel asked already knowing how her brother would act.
"I'll try," he said as he rung the doorbell. It was a couple of seconds before the was opened by the boy Louis remembered seeing at the mall.
"Hi, is Sofia here?" Janel asked.
The boy nodded, "come in," he told them. They walked into the house. "I'm Iago." He said as closed the door behind them. Iago reached out to shake their hands once he was in front of them. Janel shook it, Louis didn't.
"Louis, Janel... hi guys!" Sofia said walking into the foyer. "Um... everything is set up, just follow us." Sofia and Iago lead the way the kitchen.
"Louis you said you would be nice." Janel whispered as they followed them.
"I said I would try." Louis rolled his eyes.
As they walked into the kitchen, they saw Sofia's two other step kids at the table. "Hi I'm Inéz and this is Dani." Inéz said as she pointed to the little girl in her lap.
"I'm Janel and this is Louis." Janel smiled at her. After that everyone was kinda awkwardly silent.
"Well... let's eat." Sofia said breaking the silent. They took their seats, Louis and Janel was about to dig in before....
"We have to pray before eating." Iago said.
"Oh yeah of course. Sorry." Janel said. Janel grabbed Louis's hand, the other person closest to him was Sofia. Louis hesitantly took her hand.
Janel was engaging in conversation with Sofia and her step kids. Louis was just eating and listening to what was being said. When everyone was finished, Sofia told Inéz and Iago to take away the dishes, and leave them in privacy.
"So... what's been going on with you guys?" Sofia asked. Louis roll his eyes... I'm ready to get the FUCK... asap. Louis thought to himself.
Janel was hesitate to answer, "things have been going." She said. Janel was happy that her mother wanted to be in their lives again, but she was scared to let her know everything that's been going on.
"You sound very worrying about that." Sofia chuckled.
"Why do you care?" Louis asked abruptly. He was not buying all of this 'trying to be in their lives again' thing.
