𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩

It's been four years, almost five since we went away. We've all graduated. Nothing's changed between us. We're all still the best friends we were before we left.

We've just been more busy than usual.

Firstly Zen was a financial analyst and I was an entertainment journalist. I was on the writing side, though, I wasn't up for interviewing people. We moved back here to Texas.

Zen and I bought an apartment together. It's been a great experience. Fucking every-

James didn't want to play professional football but he continued to play in college and became an assistant college football coach. And Rebecca is a first-grade teacher. Both of them in California.

Just like James, Philly didn't want to play football professionally and is an engineer in Gregoria.

Honestly, I didn't think they would give up football with how much they love it but I'm proud of them for following what they wanted.

Philly also ended up meeting a girl named Brielle at Howard. She helped him a lot especially after the break with my sister.

Speaking of my sister, Janel graduated this year and is going to Brown. Janel also met a guy named Zander. He's an alright dude, maybe I'm just saying that because she's my little sister.

I haven't seen my friends or sister since New Years and it's now July. We all been busy, we've been on phone calls here and there but I missed them.

We made plans to go back to Texas and have a lil reunion.

"Ayo, is that LouLou and Zenai?!" We heard Philly shout. This man wanted to meet at the park for some reason.

"Philly man, I don't understand why we couldn't meet at our place or one of our parent's place," I said.

"I needed some fresh air," Philly said hugging me. "Especially after riding with Brielle all the way down here." He whispered to me.

"Hi, Phillip." Zen hugged him after me.

"Wassup sissy," Philly said. "Y'all remember Brielle?"

"Hey, Brielle." Zen hugged her. "It's nice to see you again."

"Nice to see you too," Brielle said shyly. "Hi, Louis." She hugged me after Zen.

"Where is everyone else?" Philly asked.

"Rebecca said they were almost here," Zen said.

"James and Becca coming together?" Philly asked surprised.

"Yeah," Zen said in a duh tone.

Phillip and I shared a look. These past four years James and Rebecca had been saying nothing's going between them but Philly and I knew something was going on.

The fact that James was always to "busy" to talk to me or Philly because he was with Rebecca. Alone in a dorm... that he didn't have to share.

Not to mention the two of them were always with each 24/7 when one of us would call.

"Hey, guys!" We heard Janel yell.

She hugged me, which I didn't understand. I just this lil girl yesterday.

"Hi Phillip, hi Brielle!" Janel hugged them. "I haven't seen you guys since New Year and I've missed you."

"I've missed you too," Brielle said.

Brielle and Zander knew that Philly and Janel had a relationship. I'm pretty sure they didn't mind. It's been four fucking years they better not mind.
