Velle
Stop being overprotective to our only pretty little Velle" I made a face and pouted
"Mommy, I am nineteen. Am I still a kid?" She wagged her fingers on my face
Daddy is overly protective to me in the most unexpected things. Mag-ma-mall lang kami ng kaibigan ko to celebrate our scores. We may not have the highest score but we got 90.
Gawain na niya 'to dati pa, he even begged mom to come with me at the mall and freak out when he learned that she was pampering herself in the salon while I am with my friends in a karaoke room.
"Then he can be your bodyguard too" daddy firmly uttered and called our driver who is squatting beside the drivers seat while on his phone
"Sir, lalarga na?" Nakangiti niyang tanong
("Sir, aalis na?")I don't know why but I find it annoying when he smiles. It feels like he's mocking and not serious at all.
My nose scrunches when the car smelled citrusy and nutty. Our car always smells like shea butter, my favorite. The dashboard has a lemon freshener with coconut.
"Asa madam?" He curiously asked.
What the heck is he talking about. I don't think he knows my crush.
"What?" I whispered
He has a hobbit of scratching his napes.
"Saan ba. Sorry madam" nahihiya niyang sagot
Our prof taught us how to decode the serial numbers and bar codes, not a dialect.
"Sa bahay ng kaibigan ko" I mumbled
We were supposedly go to the mall and go shopping but my friends are supportive of daddy that they cancel it and make a party in Mayumi's house. I type the place on our cars monitor screen and activated the navigator. Sa kabilang subdivision lang naman sina Mayumi and Psyche so it didn't took a long ride. A good ten minutes ride will do, since we won't get jammed by the traffic in our place
The two girls are waiting in front of Mayumi's gate. They both wearing shorts and a halter top. It's matching with my tokong or walking pants and a simple printed tee. Sarcasm. Daddy is overprotective too to what I would wear, I can wear shorts and sando in our house but not when boys are around and outside our crib
