TRIGGER WARNING
Chandler's POV
Screw. This. If one more person gives me that stupid look of pity I'm gonna hit someone.
In case you're wondering, I'm at group therapy. A mutual agreement between Andy and my parents that it would be a good idea.
So I'm in a room with three adults and a bunch of random teenagers who have also been sexually abused in some way. I hate it, they don't care about my story any more than I care about theirs.
It's pointless and no one cares.
My biggest problem is the girl that decided she would waltz back into everyone's lives last week. When I think nothing else could go wrong, here comes Laura Weston.
"Mr. Russell? Do you have anything to say?" Mr. Mason asked me. No. I don't.
"Uh, not really." I say. But it won't be good enough. They'll pressure me into talking about what happened, yet again, and claim that talking about it helps.
But all talking about it does for me is make me wanna throw up. They sent me here to make me feel like I wanna throw up.
"Chandler, Andy told me that you just got out of Juvie. Can you tell us what you were in there for?" Mr. Mason asked. He does this to embarrass me because he's a jerk. He's like a Mr. Addams wannabe, but the difference is Mr. Addams is a good person. And he knows how to do his job.
I sighed. "Drugs and alcohol." I mumble and a faint hearted girl named Amanda gasped and adjusted her glasses. I try to cut her some slack because she's only like thirteen, but really? Is that the worst thing you've ever heard of someone doing?
"And what made you do drugs and alcohol?" Mr. Mason pushed, hint of an arrogant smirk on his face. You'd think he'd be somewhat sympathetic, but he's pretty insensitive if you ask me.
"I sold the drugs. And drank one can of beer." I gritted out, if I lose my temper again Andy will be disappointed. My dad too, but I don't really care what he thinks.
Mr. Mason nodded. He loves to make me angry. "Why'd you do it?" He asked.
"Needed money." Insensitive and stupid, I guess.
Later (Third Person POV)
Andy picked Chandler up from group therapy as planned and was taking him to his parents' house. Chandler didn't wanna go, but he doesn't tell Andy that.
"Did you get all your medicine?" Andy asked Chandler, keeping his eyes on the road.
"Mhm." Chandler said shortly.
"They're not being mean to you are they?" Andy asked Chandler.
Chandler sighed. "No, Andy. You don't need to worry." He said. Andy sighed and nodded. "Look, Chandler. You know that no matter what you can always come back home if you want to right?" Andy asked Chandler, who just shrugged.
"I'm serious. Can't sleep, bad dreams, anything. You can call me and I'll pick you up." Andy said again. Chandler nodded. "Thanks." He mumbled.
Andy gives him a similar talk every other week.
When they pull into the gravel driveway, Andy is welcomed by a familiar feeling of regret and guilt. He doesn't know why, but he feels this way every time he drops Chandler off here.
"Bye, kid. I love you." He says as Chandler gets out the car.
"Love you too." He murmured.
Chandler walks up to the steps and knocks. He's thankful when his mom answers the door. Gena waves at Andy as he drives off.
"Got everything?" She asks sweetly as he carries his stuff to his room.
His dad already went to work, he was just glad that at least his mom was here.
"Yep." He said shortly.
When he put his stuff in his room, he went back out to the living room.
"You working at the grocery store tonight?" Chandler asked his mom. She sighed and nodded. "Sadly yes. Your dad will get home around 6 am, I'll be in about 8. I hate leaving you here by yourself." She said sympathetically.
"Mom don't worry about it." Chandler shook his head. He was 17 years old, and fine staying by himself. The only problem was that someone kept knocking on his door and window every time his parents would both leave.
He knew it was probably some stupid kid trying to be mess with him, but he didn't want to go back to Juvie for beating up an annoying kid.
Later
Chandler's mom had just left, telling him he could order a pizza if he wanted.
When he heard the knocking on the door, yet again, he was annoyed. He got up off the couch and for the first time since he heard the random knocking he opened the door.
"What?" He asked angrily.
However, his whole 'tough guy' facade all came crashing down at once when he saw the person behind the door.
"Do what I tell you, and I won't hurt your friends."
A/N: Yes, a cliffhanger. You're welcome :)
