Laura's POV

I've come to the conclusion that I should start dating other people. Not that I have the need to be in a relationship, but I have the need to get over Chandler.

Even that isn't something that I want to do, but it is needed. Chandler's over it, and I need to be too.

But the guys at school all suck. There are three guys who I know for sure won't use me and then try to sleep with me.

Number one, Parker. Who is one of my best friends and I don't think of him like that whatsoever. Even if he wasn't dating Ava, it's still a no-go. That would feel like incest because he's like a brother.

That brings us to number two, Zay. Who's also like a brother to me. I love Zay. But the idea of dating him is just kinda gross.

Number three is Chandler, the person I'm trying to get over. And honestly, would I even consider him someone who wouldn't try to use me and then sleep with me? He's not the same whatsoever, and I don't know if I'd put it past him.

But I'm hoping he wouldn't do that, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here. But seriously, who am I supposed to go out with?

Obviously I decided to think about this at the perfect time, lunch. I can look around and weigh my options. Parker, Autumn and Zay are sitting around my table, completely oblivious to me searching around for a boyfriend.

It's honestly no use. I'll never be over him.

I knew this especially when he came up to our table and sat next to Zay. He may be a lot meaner and more annoying, but he's still really cute, hot even. And kind of adorable, no matter how much he doesn't wanna be.

He's got a black eye, then again when doesn't he?

I roll my eyes at his presence, I don't want him to know that I'm not over him.

"You get into another fight?" Parker asked. Chandler just sighed. Of course he had. He's addicted to it.

"Yeah. I don't wanna talk about it." He shrugged.

"Didn't you have news?" Chandler asked Zay.

"Oh, yeah! I, Zay Bennett, have landed my first date ever." He said proudly. "What? Zay that's awesome! Who is she?" I ask.

"None other than Jamie Fernsby." Zay said, Chandler almost spit out the Rockstar he was drinking.

"The girl that Chandler saved?" Autumn asked and Zay nodded. "I didn't save anyone." Chandler mumbled. No one really acknowledged it.

"That's awesome man." Parker said and we all agreed.

"I actually um...I got asked out too." Chandler said.

Already? Wow, okay. I guess I should've figured. "By who?" Autumn asked. The words that came out of his mouth almost sent me into cardiac arrest.

"Brianna Melbourne." He shrugged. Zay looked angry.

"You're not seriously considering it are you? Shouldn't that be a hard no?" He exclaimed. Chandler looked unfazed.

"I know it sounds bad but I think she's changed a lot since freshman year. I don't know what I'm gonna say." He said. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I get it. He's over it, but Brianna Melbourne?

"What ever happened to, 'I already told you Brianna you're never gonna have me, whether I'm single or taken'? I still have the video if you forgot." Zay asked.

"Ah yes, the video in which Chandler was screaming at his new girlfriend." Autumn rolled her eyes.

"I haven't even answered her yet!" Chandler defended himself. The fact that he's even considering it is beyond me.
