Chapter 30

"Cadie." I slowly opened my eyes and didn't notice I fell asleep. I looked at the outside and noticed we were in a stopover.

"Let's go grab some coffee." Nauna na siya lumabas at tinanggal ko iyong seatbelt at lumabas na rin.

I followed him and went inside a coffee shop. I noticed it's Grace's cafe.

Lumapit kami kung nasaan sina Thomas. I smiled slightly and had a seat.

"Oh, dalian niyo na. Abuso kayo ha! Mag order na kayo." Nilapag ni Grace ang Menu sa'min at umupong nakasimangot.

I know it's not nice to always treat your friends. Lalo na we all have jobs already, I mean most of us. Napatingin ako sa mga kaibigan namin at nag-isip kung sino dito ang hindi nila pwedeng hindian. I look at the person at my left and what do you expect. Si Eugene.

Kakapalan ko na mukha ko.

Kinalabit ko siya at napatingin siya sa'kin.

"Did you leave something in the car?" He asked not looking at me but still looking at the menu.

"I need to ask you a favor." I whispered.

Napatingin siya sa'kin na nakakunot ang noo.

"Huh?" Lumapit siya bigla kaya ako napatigil.

I cleared my throat and distanced a bit but enough distance to hear me whisper.

"I need to ask you a favor." He nodded for me to continue.

"Can you get their orders? Ikaw mag order sa cashier tapos ako mag babayad." Umayos siya ng upo at tumingin sa'kin.

He only gave me a nod and didn't bother to have a longer conversation. I sighed and sat properly. I looked at our friends and noticed Grace looking at me. She gave me a teasing smile and wink before placing her head on Greg's shoulder. Issue.

"Game! Let's order na!" Ashley clapped her hands due to excitement.

"I'll gather everyone's order." Ayun iyong sinabi ni Eugene kaya napasimangot si Ashley.

We all stated our others and he glanced at me.

Nilahad niya ang kamay niya sa ilalim ng lamesa. I grabbe my wallet and I placed three thousand pesos in his hand.

He recapped everyone's order before standing up and going to the cashier.

"Pasalamat kayo nandito si Cadie at Thomas kaya ko kayo nililibre." Saad ni Grace na ikinatawa ni Cameron.

"Sus, ang sabihin mo lang hindi mo kami matiis na hinding ilibre." Pinalo ni Grace si Cameron kaya napatawa kami.

"Hey, Grace." I called her while wandering my sight in her cafe.

"Yeah?" She answered and I looked at her.

"I am so proud of you." I told her and she immediately smiled.

"Hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit mas nakakakilig kapag nanggagaling kay Cadie." She reached out her hand that's why I held it and she squeezed it.

Nakabalik na si Eugene at naupo na ulit sa tabi ko. He got my hand and place my 3 thousand pesos that I gave him awhile ago.

Kumunot ang noo ko. "It's my treat. Pambawi." He simply said and pulled out his phone.

Hindi ko na uli siya kinulit at nakipagkwetuhan na lang kay Ashley.

I looked at her wrist and saw a bracelet. It has 3 gems and a little C pendant. But, she doesn't like bracelets.

"Who gave this to you? You don't like bracelets." Saad ko na ikinatahimik ng lahat.
