Chapter 29

"Thomas, I might pass this unwinding thing. Mag-aaral pa ako for my residency." I nervously smiled.

It's not really the reason why I don't want to join. I mean, I will study alright. It's just that, I just realized that Eugene is coming as well. I don't want him to feel anything uncomfortable when I'm there. I want him to enjoy, I think he needs the rest.

Umiling kaagad si Thomas, "Wala kang ginawa kundi mag-aral. Kahit ito lang pagbigyan mo na. I promise you, the beach is beautiful!" I sighed and rolled my eyes.

Hinayaan ko siya kunin ang duffel bag ko pero hindi pa rin ako umaalis sa kama ko.

He looked back at me and smirked, "Ah, alam ko na." He went near me and poked my forehead.

"Si Eugene noh?" Tumawa siya at umiling.

I frowned, "Thomas, please. Baka kasi ayaw niya ko roon. He might be uncomfortable. Ayaw ko nun."

Hinila niya ako patayo at inakbayan ako.

"Hindi lang naman si Eugene ang iniisip dito. Lahat tayo. Don't give him the special treatment. Kung hindi siya komportable, then it's his problem not yours. Tara na." Hinila na niya ako palabas ng kwarto at nakitang nandun na nga sila sa sofa.

I saw Grace and Ashley talking about clothes. I saw Greg and Eugene laughing at Cameron for he was sleeping. Napailing na lang ako.

Tinanggal ni Thomas akbay niya sa'kin at naunang bumaba. Nang nakita nila si Thomas na bumaba, Grace and Ashley ran to him and hugged him.

"We missed you!" Sabay pa na saad ni Grace at Ashley na ikinatawa nila. I smiled at them.

I also went down to join them. Lumapit sa'kin si Ashley at bumeso sa'kin. "Good morning!"

I nodded at her and smiled. Nagulat ako nang biglang umupo si Cameron bigla.

He opened his eyes a little bit and looked at Thomas. He smiled and stood up.

"Thommy!" Cameron ran to him while shouting his name in a girly tone.

Tawang-tawa kami because Cameron really never changed.

I saw Manang smiling at me and signaling me to eat. I smiled and nodded at her before turning to my friends.

"Let's eat breakfast first." Napatingin ako kay Eugene at nakatingin na rin pala siya sa'kin. I immediately gazed away and went towards the dining area.

It's awkward, should I still go?

I was busy getting my bag when someone poked me in my side.

"Greg, Cameron, and Eugene brought their cars. Kanino ka sasabay?" Grace asked him.

I looked at Thomas and he bit his lip.

"Kay Cameron ako. Ikaw Ashley?" Napatigil naman kaagad si Ashley. She looked at me for a second and smiled.

She looked back at Thomas, "Kay Cameron."

I stood up and nodded, "Okay then, kay Cameron na rin ako sasabay." I was about to walk out the door when Ashley stopped me.

"Hindi pwede. Matutulog ako sa likod, hihiga ako." Kumunot ang noo ko at lumapit naman kina Greg.

Greg scratched the back of his neck and smiled. "Babe time." Nanlaki ang mata ko.

I glared at them and they just smiled at me before going out of the house to go the garage.
