Chapter 31

I opened the wrapper and gave him the chocolate.

"Thanks." He uttered as he get the chocolate from me.

I looked at the back and saw the side of his backpack na nandun ang black niyang hydro flask.

I grabbed it and sat properly.

Hinintay ko siyang makatapos sa pag kain niya ng chocolate.

Inabot ko na iyong tubigan sakaniya at he gave me the wrapper. I folded the wrapper and place it inside the mini plastic I have in my bag for trash.

It was just like that throughout the roadtrip and when we arrived at our destination. I can't help it but to smile with the scent of nature.

I grabbed my small bag and went outside the car.

Nauna na akong pumasok sa reception at sinalubong sina Thomas.

Inakbayan niya ako at isinandal niya ang ulo niya tuktok ng ulo ko.

"Miss ko na si Ysa." He uttered. I smiled at him.

Ysa is Thomas' special someone. They've been together for 3 years now and Ysabella is one of the most genuine yet feisty lady I have ever met.

"Babalik ka naman next week ah." I told him and I felt him nodded.

"Tapos mag pro-propose na ako." Napalayo kaagad ako sa sinabi niya at binatukan siya.

"Alam ba nina Tita iyang plano mo?" I asked in disbelief and he laughed.

"I'll propose because, I'm already sure. Wala rito ang desisyon ng pamilya natin. Mag papaalam muna ako sa pamilya ni Ysabella. Of course, I need to ask them first. I respect them as much as I respect my girl." I smiled as he talks about Ysabella.

Kapag si Ysabella na talaga ang usapan, I cant help but be happy for him. He has been through a lot too. And I was there with him throughout.

Humiwalay na ako sakaniya dahil pinapalapit ako nina Grace.

"Okay naman sa'yo na magkakasama tayo sa iisang room noh?" Grace asked and I smiled.

"Yeah, of course!" She smiled back.

"Ashley and I will just share the other bed you can have the other one." Umiling naman kaagad ako.

"Pagdikitin na lang natin. More bed space." Sumangayon naman si Ashley at hinila na ako paakyat. We went to a floating hut and when we went inside. Para kaming nasa Maldives. It's beautiful.

Nag palit na kaagad sila ng mas komportableng suot, habang ako lumabas para kunin ang gamit.

I went to the reception and saw Eugene sweating and carrying my duffel bag too.

I went near him and got my duffel bag from him. Nagulat naman siya roon.

"Change shirt." Ayun lang ang sinabi ko bago tumalikod at nag lakad paalis.

When I went back to the hut, tapos na sila mag palit. They were busy placing some dresses in the bed.

They must've noticed I got back that's why they smiled so widely at me. Hinila kaagad ako ni Ashley.

"Look, I bought us three some matching dresses for tonight's dinner! Fancy daw eh, sabi ni Thomas." I looked at the flowy long dresses in front of me. It seems so tropical on how flowy it is. It's nice.

"Sabi ni Ashley, kahit dito lang pumayag na raw ako mag terno sainyo." Umirap si Grace na ikinatawa ko.

"You agreed naman na! So, I'm okay with it!" Bawi naman ni Ashley.

I excused myself to go to the bathroom with my duffel bag to change into something breathable.

I changed into a white button down tank top and brown paper shorts. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. And decided to put my hair into a braid.

I applied tinted sun block on my face and decided to put some blush on my cheeks and lip gloss on my lips.

Nang nakalabas ako they finished putting the beds together making it a huge bed. I place my duffel bag at the bottom shelf of the closet. I will fix that later.

"Are you good, Cadie? Let's meet the others na?" Ashley asked that made me nodded.

I grabbed my phone, wallet and wore my summer hat and sun glasses before heading outside.

Ni-lock muna ni Grace yung hut at hinila na ako papunta sa hut ng mga lalake.

Ashley opened the door and just went in. Sumunod na lang ako sakanila kahit hindi ako komportable na papasok kaagad without their permission.

"Saan tayo ngayon?" I heard Grace asked as she went near Greg and sat on his lap.

"We'll do the extreme activities tomorrow. We'll eat our late lunch, then maybe have a picnic meryenda." Saad ni Thomas.

Ashley was in shocked and looked at me, "Thomas really did change, this guy knows how to survive on a date!" Natawa naman ako sa sinabi ni Ashley at tumango na lang.

Love can make people change, it can be in the worst or best way.

I felt my phone vibrated and saw my Kuya Kane calling.

I answered it and I heard him sigh.

"Kuya, is everything alright?"

He cleared his throat, "Yeah, all good. Nag alala ako. Did you bring your medicine? You need those to lessen your attacks. Napapansin ko na napapadalas nanaman atake mo, Cadie. Do you still take it?" I bit my lip.

"Yes, kuya. I brought it with me. It's with Thomas. He's in charge of it." He sighed in relief.

"I was worried because your pills that it's with me is still here. Binigay ni mommy iyong nasakaniya?"

"Yes, kuya."

"Okay, good. Alright. I want you to have fun, okay? Unwind. You need that too. Please don't think too much. Wala si kuya diyan para bigyan ka ng ice cream late at night. Sige ka." Natawa maman ako sa pag be-baby ni kuya.

"Yes, I will always keep that in mind."

"Alright, I won't stay that long, I love you."

I smiled, "And I love you. Ingat ka sa pagpasok."

Pinatay na niya ang tawag at napansin nakatingin pala sila sa'kin.

"Si Kuya Kane?" Ashley asked and I smiled.

She grinned, "My happy crush!"

Napansin ko naman si Cameron na sumimangot at tumingin sa'kin. Ah, I get it.

These two were the greatest enemies, now they're trying to make their relationship private kapag nandiyan ako.

They're too obvious.

Umiling na lang ako at umupo sa kama ni Thomas. I decided to check my social medias and emails. When I saw there was nothing I set it aside.

I looked at the person who was peacefully sleeping in his bed. His arm covering his eyes and breathing slowly. He must be so tired. I bet he was busy yesterday at walang gaanong pahinga. He should rest.
