Dances.. and all that comes with them are what every one either dreams or dreads me for example I'm not the biggest fan of them but I do enjoy the free booze.
Also the preparing for the dance I try not to stress about it most times I easily find a dress and set for it unlike other people that have many options.
Like Hope for example.
"I'm not sure what color I should wear." She tells me sighing.
While I sit on her bed comfortably I start feeling a little anxious which is something I've always dealt with but it's been happening more these past weeks.
So I sigh and set up.
"I'm gonna go run some errands good luck with the color or whatever." I tell Hope walking out the room.
I can tell she's confused at the sudden mood change.
"Errands? What errands?" She says loudly but I ignore it I walk towards my room and grab a hoodie and my keys.
Once I'm outside in my car I pull my phone out. I have a couple texts from Lexi and one from Luka.
Shit I forgot I had told Lexi I would go with her dress shopping.
So I quickly text Luka and tell him I'll meet with him later before I head over to pick Lexi up.
After a couple minutes of driving I arrive at her house and she's already outside waiting once she sees me she gets in the car.
For the past days we had been texting well mostly her telling me the plans and showing me dresses and all.
So we could color coordinate.
"Hi." She says with a smile.
"Hey." I tell her back returning the smile. "Uh, ready to go?" I ask and she nods.
And that's how I spend my day shopping around will it's mostly Lexi shopping and me just agreeing with the dress options.
To be fair Lexi wasn't terrible company but I would be lying if I said I had my head straight because I didn't, all I could think about was smoking again.
I should be worried because I used to not smoke a lot of weed back then but this time it made me feel different made my mind be at ease.
And with everything that had happened that's all I wanted to feel.
It's not like I was an addict I had it all under control.
Finally after a couple of hours I was dropping Lexi off at home. Once we arrived I got off to help her with the stuff she had gotten.
"Thank you for today, uh do you want to come in?" Lexi asks.
I want to say yes but I had told Luka about meeting up and I'm about to respond to her when Cassie speaks up.
