Chapter 33

Kill or Be Killed

"Kenny!" Levi shouts and throws a blade at the man. He deflects it by hitting it with his gear and shoots a bullet at them. (Y/n) dives behind the column while Levi takes off his coat. The bullet flies through the column, barely missing her head.

"Why does everyone want us dead?" she mutters and two squad members who had the same gear jump up onto the roof. She clicks her tongue and with a wave of her left arm, wind slices through their torsos cutting them in half.

She signs to Levi to split up and he nods at her before jumping down the roof. Kenny stands next to her and he points his gun towards her, "You think I won't kill you because you're Caleb's little demon sister?"

"I don't think you'll kill me because I'm more valuable than your own pathetic life" she taunts him with a smirk.

"Hm. You're right" he says before swinging off to go after Levi. She shadow travels to find her friends and alert them of the new enemy. She appears before the others with a frown.

"We're being hunted" she alerts them and two of Kenny's squad members jump up behind her. Without batting an eyelash, both of their bodies are cut open with the wind. Guts and blood spray everywhere with an anguished scream.

Sasha covers her mouth to keep herself from screaming at the bloody scene. Connie gags at the stench of human blood while Jean and Armin tremble under her gaze. Mikasa had a cold expression but she felt fear. (Y/n) frowns, "We are now at war with not only the titans but the government. Kill when it's necessary."

"I-" Jean mumbles and she raises her hand.

"That's an order" she states with power in her voice and they nod. They move out with (Y/n) leading them towards the fight. A gunshot goes off and she knows that it was where Levi is. She moves rapidly with her ODM gear, conserving her energy if she needed to explode it.

Levi comes into view ahead of them and one of the people hunting him appears behind him. Levi turns around and shoots a wire into the guy's abdomen. He propels his body forward and cuts through the man's body. (Y/n) saw that there was a gash over his left eyebrow.

Someone else appears and out of anger, (Y/n) wields the wind to cut their limbs off. Their torso falls down onto the ground. Levi glances back knowing only one person is capable of doing that, "Tch. Armin! Jean! Secure the wagon. We'll cover you."

Armin's lips tremble as he jumps onto the wagon where Historia and Eren laid unconscious. Jean follows after him and a woman turns around to shoot at them, but Levi slams into her, pushing her back into the wagon. (Y/n) clicks her tongue and wields the wind to cut at more of the squad.

"Don't move!" Jean screams and she glances back to see what was going on in the wagon. The woman had her gun pointed at Jean and before she could kill the woman, Armin pulls the trigger of the gun. A bullet flies into the woman's back and she slams down into the wagon.

She smirks at the woman's bloody death. Three more people appear and point their guns at both Jean and Armin. Sasha and Levi swoop in and grab onto them as the three people fire at them. (Y/n) clicks her tongue and raises her hands to cut them down, but a bullet flies through her thigh.

She falls onto the stone ground, gripping onto her right thigh. She glances at the person who shot at her and her blood burns under her skin. Before she knows it, the person's body explodes into pieces of organs and tissues. She gasps out, wondering how she did that. Her father's face appears in her mind.

"(Y/n)!" Connie screams as he runs to her bent over body.

She had her hands over her right thigh and she closes her eyes, concentrating her powers to heal the bullet wound. Her skin comes together, mending and leaving a scar. She glances at Connie and then looks at the where the wagon was supposed to be.
