Hope's POV

The pig pulled me and pushed the both of us behind a broken wall.
"What is that?" I whisper.
"The darkness", The pig says. "The big bad wolf."
"Come out, come out wherever you are", The monster says. "I can feel you're magic."
I put my palms together to perform a spell to divert the wolf, but the pig slaps my hand.
"Ow, What the hell?" I whisper.
"He can feel magic." The pig warns again.

I roll my eyes and I continue with the spell. I make a ball of magic and I toss it to explode elsewhere. As soon as I hear the booming footsteps get quieter, I assume the wolf has left.
I pull the pig into the empty cottage.
"Oh my god, we're going to die." The pig panics.
"Would you shut up!" I shout.
"I hear you!" The wolf boomed.
"Oh, crap."

"Little witch, little witch, let me...in!" He shouted from outside the door.
"Okay, you stay here", I say as I pushed the pig behind a couch chair. "And I will try to kill it."
"Oh my god we're going to die." The pig says all in one breath as he panics.

The door breaks down and it reveals a giant hideous wolf. It's teeth were bared and it stood tall.

"There you are little witch." It grinned before coming towards me.
"Ignarious!" I threw a fire ball at it.
"Don't do that!" The pig shouted. "You're only making it stronger!"
"Oh, come on!" I whined.
I looked around quickly and saw an axe. I went towards it big the hood on my cloak was snatched back and I went flying. The wolf held me overhead and spun me before tossing me into the wall.
"Ouch." I groan before sneaking between the wolf's leg to get back to the axe.

I heard the pigs screams and I turned around to see it going down the wolf's throat.
"No!"
As soon I held the axe in my hands, I turned back to the wolf and struck it down the centre. The wolf fell onto the ground and took its last breath.

"Oh, god no. The pig." I sighed sadly as I thought of what Josie would think of this.
In a swift motion the wolf began moving again. I picked up the axe and held it forward. The wolf didn't seem to be moving, but something in it seemed to. I hand reached out of its stomach and I saw goo on the hand. I made a face of disgust before grabbing the hand. I helped the person out and it revealed Josie.

"Oh my gosh!" I cried with happiness and confusion. I hugged Josie and began wiping the goo from her face. I tucked her hair behind her ears. I hugged her again to make sure she was real.
"Hope? You're here?" Josie questioned in disbelief.
"Yeah, it's me. I came to rescue you." I smiled from ear to ear. I paused for a moment.
"W-Wait. What happened to the pig?" I ask her.
"Um... I- I was the pig." Josie admits.

"I thought if I disguised myself the Darkness would leave me alone. Josie continues.
"You were the pig? You do realize he said some really patronizing a-and sexist things to me." I say to her.
"No, I know. I just didn't want you to suspect it was me, because I need you to leave. Okay?" Josie says. "I don't want you to get hurt."
