You and Louis were walking along the beach. You kept noticing him glancing over at you once and awhile.
You two have been best ever since you two were 3. He left to be on XFactor 2 years ago. He came to visit you with the other lads.
You secretly had a crush on him but never told him because you thought he would never love you back.
"Y/N can I tell you something?" he asked sounding nervous. "You know you can tell me anything Lou" "But you have to promise me that we will still be best friend"
What is he talking about? You thought. "I promise" nodding signaling him to continue.
He takes a deep breath and begins "I know we're best friends and this might be awkward but I have to tell you. I can't hide it any longer, it's killing me! When I was on tour all I could think about was you. Your perfect smile, eyes, laugh, everything about you. I kept telling the guys how amazing you are, and then I realized why. I love you. I have ever since I saw you on the swings the first day of preschool. I had to see you again, so I came back to sort out my feelings, and I was right. I love you Y/N"
You were speechless. Is he joking with me, you asked yourself. He couldn't have known about your feelings, or maybe he did. No! You didn't tell anyone.
Maybe I'm dreaming. You pinched yourself to find out, but it wasn't. "Why'd you do that?" Louis asked. "Trying to see if I was dreaming" you answered hesitantly.
"I freaked you out, didn't I? You hate me! I'm sorry" before you had time to say 'I love you' back to him, he ran away.
You were about to run after him but he was long gone by then. That boy can run fast.

You lay in your bed deciding weather to call Louis or not. Maybe I'll call him tomorrow, you thought before closing your eyes and drifting into a dreamless sleep.
You wake up with a massive headache. You take some Tylenol and make some eggs for breakfast.
You ate and were just about to call Louis when you phone rang.
You looked at the ID but it was unknown. You answered it anyway.
"hello?" "Y/N? What happened to Louis? He came back miserable yesterday and won't eat, sleep, or talk to anyone. He just sits staring at pictures of him when he was little" It sounded like Harry. Not surprising that he called worrying since he was Louis' best guy friend.
"I'll be over in 15 minutes" and You hang up on him. You get dressed, brush your teeth/hair, put a little make-up on, and grab your keys heading out to your car.
When you get to Louis' house you walked in not bothering to knock.
The guys are sitting on the couch looking worried. "Where is he?" You ask them. "His room" Liam answers me.
You walk to his room and knock on the door. He doesn't answer so you knock again.
"Go away Harry!" He demanded. He sounds terrible. "It's not Harry" You tell him through his door.
You turn the doorknob and realized it wasn't locked so you open his door and walk in, shutting the door behind you.
Louis was curled up on his bed, under the blankets, hugging his blanket.
You sit on the edge of his bed beside him. "What are you here?" he asked not looking up at you. "Can't I come see my best friend?"
He was surprised by what you said. "Why? Don't you hate me?" he asked.
Should I tell him? This might not be the best time, you thought.
"I don't hate you. I would never hate you Louis. I-I love you" You stuttered.
He looked up at you. You notice his eyes are red and puffy. He was crying.
"W-What? You what?" He asked not believing me. "I love you" you repeated.
He sat up and brought his hand up and cupped your cheek. His eyes trailed down to your lips, then back to your eyes.
You both started leaning in. Soon you felt his lips on yours. Your lips started moving in sync. You felt more then sparks, more like fireworks.
You both pull away staring into each others eyes.
"Y/N will you be my girlfriend?" he asks smiling at you. You don't hesitate to answer "Yes"
You both kiss again before being interrupted by Harry, Liam, Zayn, and Niall who were listening throught the door, spying on you.
"Finally your together now!" Harry hugged you guys. They all left leaving you and Louis alone again.
He hugged you and whispered in your ear "I love you Y\N"
