When I walk past you
it's like I never even knew you
expect i can't really ever forget
because I have memory intact
even though i'd like some things
to fade with slow setting amnesia
because seeing you brings it back
passion, pain, love, and hatred
it burns within me, tests my patience
i'd like to believe you'll treat me better
But my memory is still intact
so i can't forget how awfully painful
the lies and the words burned me
no matter how i'll try without end
to heal it, badge a wound and
permanently seal it..
