Don't you know?
No one "chooses"
To be gay or bisexual
Or asexual, or anything else
And no one chooses
To be straight, for that matter
So, if we cannot change..
What's the point in trying to?
Don't you know?
Homosexuality exists in many species
And homophobia- only exists in one.
The humans.
Don't you know?
It feels great to be in love.
And it hurts like heck
To be denied that privilege
Or to hear heartless, dark murmurs
And cruel mutters behind your backs
Don't you know?
If you believe in God-
That God loves all his children
That no one deserves hate
And that we are all brother and sister
Even if you don't believe, it makes sense still.
Don't you know?
Love will always win in the end.
