This chapter is dedicated to my childhood friend who disappeared in the middle of the night.

I started reading the article and it read as follows."Sharlene Wellings, mother of two girls who are twins, Justina Wellings and Sabrina Welling, woke up last Monday without her children. She claims that she left them in their bedroom the night before and woke up to find them gone. "I dont know where they are, I just want them back" says Sharlene....."
I covered my mouth. I knew it, I knew there was something wrong with Shary. I mean all the motherly gestures she made have to meant something. But I didn't expect this.
I took a photo of the twins picture. They looked so innocent. Justina had blue eyes and Sabrina had brown eyes. They were so beautiful. The dresses they wore in the picture were the same as the one they were wearing in the basement.
I went downstairs and found Shary sitting on the dinning table and staring at her phone.
"Hey hunny, what's up?" She asked smiling.
"You look just like them.." I said looking at the picture in my phone and at back at her.
"Huh, what do you mean?" She asked.
"Do you miss them?" I asked again.
The smile on Shary's face faded. "Sam you're freaking me out".
I walked over to her and showed her the article and their pictures. "Justina and Sabrina.." I said.
Tears started rolling down Shary's cheek. "Where did you? Ohh my gosh, ohh you you don't know the way I miss them." She said.
"I know where they are.." I said smiling. "They're in the basement". I ran to the basement door and pointed at it with a huge smile on my face.
"Sam stop" she said wiping her tears.
"No they're in here, I talk to them evrynight" I pushed.
"I said stop it Sam!" She shouted. That was the first time I heard her raise her voice. It was scary. She stood up, took a hard look at me and walked away. I stood there paralysed.
I know they are there, I know it. If I can just get them out to see her or get her in to see them. If only.
