My Insane, Complicated, and Oh So Paranormal Love Life (Immortales vs Powers)

Carter's POV

I looked at the others and sighed. We were going to have to risk it and save him. I didn't know what she was, but we were going to have to risk it.

I started walking and said, "Karl you come with me. Damian and William, watch our backs and stay hidden. You make sure nothing sneaks up on us. This might be a trap. Best case senario is she is just Witches and we will be fine. Worst case, she is an Immortale."

"Technically, best case senario is that she is a Power. But that is unlikely," Karl said.

I rolled my eyes at him and we walked.

When we were almost to them I used my telepathy and sent a message to Karl, 'Follow my lead...'

"Blaise! Everyone has been looking for you. Brenda said we had to be back soon. C'mon," I said as normally as possible.

He turned around and glared at me before saying, "Whatever."

I turned and looked at the girl he was with. She had black hair and seemed gothic. She had bangs that went down to her eye brows. Her hair was down and went a few inches past her shoulders.

"So, who's your friend?" Karl asked.

"I'm Avalon," the girl answered, "Who are you?"

I was going to give our fake names but Blaise answered, "That's Carter and Karl. I was telling you about them."

"Oh, them. Nice to meet you..." She smiled and put her out. I was hesitant to shake it. I glanced at Karl and he was ready to attack if anything happened. I decided to risk it and shake her hand.

The moment I touched her hand the world around me crumbled. Instead I falling. I looked up and I could see the light of the outside world. It was becoming smaller and smaller as I fell. I was too scared to scream or too react at all.

Then as fast as it had happened, I was back where I was before. Karl was besides me looking worried. I noticed William and Damian had come out of their hidding spots. Blaise seemed amused and Avalon was smirking.

"I call that reality manipulation. I can make you see anything I want you to, as long as I have seen it before. I can exaggerate it though. That was me falling 10 feet. I made you feel like you were falling a million feet," Avalon said.

"She is the dark energy power. So only two more people to find," Blaise said.

"Actually, only one more," she said, "I have a twin."

"Actually, we have the whole team," Karl said, "We already found the light energy power. He is just not with us at the moment. So that means your sister is... Earth?"

"Yep," said another voice.

I turned and saw a girl with black hair. But hers was put into pigtails and she had a pink flower in her hair. She had a sundress on and looked exactly like her sister, except happier and girlier.

"I'm Evangalene! But you can call me Eva. Eh-va. Not Ee-va. Eh-va is more earthly and stuff. I see you have already met Ava," Eva said.

"Ava?" I asked.

"Only Eva can call me Ava. Anyone else calls me by that and I will kill you," Avalon said.

"Well then I guess we need to head back to New Orleans and get Rowen," I said.

"Well I'm not getting in a car and driving across the country... again. Not tonight anyways. Let's find a place to stay tonight," William said.

"Who are the rest of these guys?" Avalon asked.

"Oh, I forgot! This is William. He is an Immortale, but he's on our side. That's Damian. He's a vampire. This is Karl, Wind Power. I'm Carter, Water Power and leader, I guess," I told them, "You already met Blaise, Fire power."

"You have your own little group here... I guess we are apart of it now..." Avalon said. She didn't seem very happy about being apart of our group.

"Yeah! We are in a group now! Gonna go fight the Immortales and kick some butt!" Eva was alot more excited than her sister.

"Well let's find some place to stay and discuss what we are going to do next..." Damian said.

"You can come to our place..." Eva said.

"They can?" Avalon replied.

"Of course! Stop being a jerk!" Eva scolded.

"C'mon follow me, while Eva opens the door," Avalon said.

Eva ran towards the water and ran into the water then suddenly disappeared...wait, no she didn't disappear she turned into a fish. I saw her flop into the water.

Avalon led us toward a cave that seemed to have a deadend. After a few seconds though, it openned up.

"Were, Carter and I the only ones with normal houses?" Karl asked.

"Actually, ours had that one secret tunnel system underneath that connected our houses, remember? That is how we became friends," I said.

"We're Powers, we aren't supposed to be normal..." Avalon said.

We walked inside and saw Eva, now back in her human form. We all sat down.

"That's a cool way to hide your house," Blaise said.

"Thanks! It took awhile to build. We have only had it for almost a year. We needed to gain our powers before we could build it," Eva said.

"Well, enough about the house. What do we need to discuss?" Avalon said.

"Well, we need to get to know each other. We can't work together if we are practically strangers..." Karl said.

"He's right. I'll go first. My power is water. I can heal with my water, but it causes me pain and the person being healed pain. I have telepathy. I also have mindreading, but only if I am touching the person. Lastly I have telekeneis," I said.

William went next, "I have mind control."

"Invisability and Molecule manipulaton. Plus the whole fire thing," Blaise said.

"I have air and hawk vision..." Karl hesitated and then added, "I don't know my other one yet...."

Eva said happily, "Well I have Earth, so I can make stuff grow. I can also shape shift. I haven't found my last one yet either..."

Ava sighed and went last, "Well dark energy or whatever you want to call it. Either way I can control shadows. I can also manipulate reality, as long as I am touching you. Lastly I can bring things back to life."

"The other guy, in New Orleans name is Rowen. He is light energy. He has powers that have something to do with hearing and stuff, but I'm not sure yet..." I said.

"Well I think that is enough for tonight. It is late and we need to get on the road again tomorrow. Which sucks..." William joked.

"You're right. We should get to Rowen as soon as we can," I said.

"Hope you guys don't mind sleeping on the floor..." Eva said.

"No, I think we will be fine," I said. I was just thankful we had a safe place to stay. I hated staying at motels.

Eva and Avalon laid some blankets on the ground for our beds. We got as comfortable as we could.

I was really tired and quickly went to sleep. I would deal with all the new plans and drama and stuff tomorrow morning.
