Talia pauses and says quietly "Oh... um.. how was it his fault?" 21:19 

Talia: (Talk about my boyfriend behind his back and I'll be the next one to smash your head in ) 21:22 

Brendan: (Well, wouldn't want that, now would I, Talia?) 21:23 

Talia: (No so stfu and let your beloved Gracie take care of you) 21:25 

Chris: Sammie and Brendan were friends. His mom's a healer and when the outbreak of scarlet fever happened, everyone went to see her. My mom warned Sammie to not go near Brendan until the pandemic was over, but Brendan would beg her to go to his house every day after school. I threatened him and told him to stay away, but he wouldn't listen. One night, he finally came over and got Sammie to sneak out. When she got back home, she told me all about it and said that she felt bad for everyone who was sick. She even kissed one of them on the cheek and hoped it would make them feel better... That's how she caught it. It's all because of him that she died and after she did, I beat him so much that he nearly joined her. If it weren't for his mother's healing skills, he'd still look as ugly as he did back then. I fucking hate that bastard... 21:26 

Brendan: (If you insist...) 21:26 

Gracie bites her lip. 21:26 

Gracie: I'm glad that you came here, but... I just don't know how you'll be able to stay with him around... 21:26 

Brendan smiles. "We'll figure out something. Right now, I'm just so glad you're alive and well. I knew there was no way you'd kill yourself. You were always too cheerful." 21:27 

Gracie forces a smile even though she's actually sad that he said that because she thinks of the last few months and how drunk and depressed she's been. 21:28 

Talia bites her lip and looks at the floor "I'm really sorry Chris. I didn't know, I guess I shouldn't have told you he was here and... gosh I'm so so sorry..." 21:29 

Chris shakes his head. "It's not your fault. You didn't know how bad it really is between me and him..." 21:30 

Brendan touches Gracie's scars and runs his thumb across her face. "Over a year without seeing you. You can't imagine how much I missed you. I saw you less and less every day and then you just... disappeared... I was worried my memory of you would disappear too, but it didn't." 21:31 

Gracie bites her lip and blushes. "Brendan... I... Um..." 21:32 

Talia: I shouldn't have yelled at you before... 21:32 

Brendan leans in to kiss her. 21:32 

Chris shrugs. "It's fine. You didn't know." 21:33 

Talia glances at Chris "What are you going to do if he stays?" 21:34 

Gracie gasps and quickly turns her face so he only kisses her cheek. 21:35 

Chris clutches his hands into fists and grits his teeth. "I don't know... I can't even stay in the same room with him without wanting to tear him to shreds." 21:35 

Brendan pulls away, surprised and a little disappointed. 21:35 

Gracie: I-I have a boyfriend, Brendan. 21:36 

Brendan: Oh... I see... 21:36 

Gracie: You just... You never asked me to before when I was in D7 and... and I really love him! I mean... 21:37 

Brendan gulps and nods. "No, you're right... I'm too late now..." 21:37 

Talia swings her feet in the chair "I don't want you to be unhappy like this all the time if he stays, Chris" 21:39
