Chris goes downstairs, walking and reading a book at the same time. 11:15
Brendan hangs out on the backyard with some hot coco and a whole thing of cookies Gracie made. She keeps bringing him food. 11:16
Chris walks into the kitchen. 11:16
Talia sees Chris and smiles "Finally came out of your cave?" 11:17
Chris looks up and smirks. "Oh, yeah. Kind of scary in there. Did you see how many books on bats there were in the nonfiction area?" 11:18
Talia scrunches her nose "Ew no. and I don't want to." 11:19
Chris laughs and glances at the page number to memorize it before shutting the book and putting it down. Then he grabs an oreo and eats it. 11:20
Talia: Jo made this oreo stuff and it's sooo good 11:21
Chris: Hmm. Looks good. Can I have a bite? 11:21
Talia laughs "No, it's too good to share!!" 11:22
Chris: Oh, come on. Please? I've been good. Don't I deserve it? 11:23
Talia: Hmmmm, I dunno........ 11:25
Chris steals the oreo thing and takes a bite. 11:25
Chris: Mmm. It IS good! 11:25
Talia: Hey! 11:26
Chris laughs. "I'll have to rephrase my earlier statement... I WAS being good..." He takes another bite and grins. 11:26
Talia reaches for the oreo stuff "Give it back!" 11:27
Brendan watches the clouds roll on and thinks about his twin brother, Bryan, hoping he's okay. 11:27
Chris: Nope! 11:27
Chris lifts it up high. 11:27
Talia reaches for it "Come on! Pleaseeeeee" 11:28
Chris pretends like it's going to drop. "Oh no! It's falling out of my grasp!" 11:29
Talia grabs it and elbows Chris playfully "Meany" 11:30
Chris smiles and shrugs. "So?" 11:30
Talia rolls her eyes "You can't be mean to me!" 11:31
Chris: Yeah I can. Just that much because I love you. 11:33
Talia laughs "I love you too, but if you're mean I'll be mean right back!" 11:34
Chris: Okay. I'll TRY to behave then. 11:35
Talia laughs "I don't believe you" 11:35
Chris shrugs. "Believe what you want then, baby." 11:36
Talia rolls her eyes 11:37
Brendan finishes his cookies and walks back inside to the kitchen. 11:38
Talia pretends like she doesn't notice Brendan 11:40
Chris glances up when he sees the back door open and crosses his arms irritably. 11:40
Brendan sees Talia and Chris and ignores them, going to the sink and washing his mug and plate. 11:41
Talia stares Chris and shakes her head 11:41
Chris has already talked to Baden and awkwardly says, "Hey, sorry about your parents." 11:42
Brendan locks his jaw. "Yeah. Sure you are." He goes to the living room before Chris can say anything back. 11:43
Talia watches Brendan 11:44
Chris shrugs and looks at Talia. "You saw that, right? Can't say I didn't try to be nice at least ONCE to that pathetic asshole..." 11:44
Talia: Just don't get into fights with him... 11:45
Brendan sits down on the couch and flips through channels, thinking that Chris is probably HAPPY his mom is dead since she was the one treating the patients that passed the scarlet fever to Sammie. 11:46
Chris smirks. "But it's fun kicking his ass..." 11:46
Talia rubs the back of her neck. "I think we have to try and stop all the fighting in the house.. and everyone is picking sides and all..." 11:48
Chris shrugs a shoulder again. "I know you're right. Everyone here's already gone through a lot and the last thing they need is to fight. It's just not that easy to stop fighting, though. Especially if some of the people have held grudges like Brendan and I have." 11:52
Talia sighs "I know, but.. I mean it happened so long ago Chris, and I'm sure Brendan didn't know he did something so wrong. I'm sure he's sorry for what he did. I'm also sure you never talked to him about it without screaming at him or beating him up..." 11:54
Chris laughs. "Okay. You're starting to know me a little too well. You're right. Most of the time I just beat him up." 11:55
Talia smirks "It's not that hard to figure you out, and maybe you should talk to him about it sometime" 11:57
Chris shakes his head. "Not any time soon." 11:59
Talia shakes her head "What ever" 12:00
