"I heard you got drunk with Eli last night."
"Ash... Didn't see you there."
Hunter looked up from his chemistry book to find Ash staring over him. She looked pissed, her blue icy eyes piercing his.
"I cannot believe you're off getting drunk." She stated hotly. Hunter glanced back down to his text book and sighed.
"What's it matter to you if you can't even take feed yourself?" Hunter said flatly as he closed the textbook. He looked back up to the steaming Ash and sighed.
"It matters because I care enough about you to make sure you don't hurt yourself!" She screamed. A loud shush came from behind Hunter. He blinked slowly as Ash gripped his wrist. "Come on, we're going to the locker bay."
She tugged on his wrist to pulled him up, but when he didn't budge, she sighed and sat next to him.
"Fine, if you won't come with me, at least tell me why you got drunk..." Ash said, brushing her black hair out of her eyes.
"No reason," Hunter said and began digging through his bag. He pulled out a muffin and began to break it into fourths. "Eat some," Hunter held a piece of the muffin out to Ash. She turned away from it and Hunter groaned.
"I'm not hungry. I just ate," Ash murmured. She pushed Hunter's hand back to his chest. "I really don't like muffins anyway."
"Bull shit, they're your favorite pastry!" hunter exclaimed. He sighed and put the muffin on his knee. "You said so yourself."
"I hate muffins," Ash said as she stood up. Her figure was shrinking and it made Hunter cringe. "I... I have to go, class and everything." Ash said, pushing her bag further up on her shoulders.
Hunter watched her leave the library, thinking how much he's watched her leave.
