"You ditched me with your sister the other night, didn't show up to school to explain, and allowed that girl to work her way into your fucking pants?" Eli said while he looked down at his text book. Hunter shrugged. "Man you're a fucking wreck." Eli stated calmly as he turned the page in his book.

Hunter rubbed the back of his neck. "I had her eat a muffin," he said cooly, sitting next to Eli. "She ate it all, and that was the deal. I stay if she ate the muffin." Hunter pulled his keys from his pocket and set them on the table. "I don't just break deals."

"Bull shit you 'don't just break deals'." Eli high lighted the third row down in the clean page. "Remember that time you said you'd be. right back?" Hunter chuckled.

"Yea, I remember it fine."

"Good, because I don't."

The two busted into laughter as Eli's phone went off. He unlocked the screen and began reading the long message. Hunter dug through his bag and found his mobile and unlocked it as well.

2 unread messages.

Hunter furrowed his eye brows and opened them.

Message 1
From : Ash
To : Hunter
Hey, can I come over later tonight? :)

Message 2
From : Ash
To : Hunter
Please, I have to ask you a favor.

Hunter read the messages twice and chewed his cheek.

To : Ash
From : Hunter
Yea, sure. What's up?

He dragged a hand down his face and looked up around the quiet library. Several people were working on computers and laptops, the keys clicking. Hunters phone buzzed.

From : Ash
To : Hunter
Nothing, I just want to ask a question. I'll walk home with you today :)

To : Ash
From : Hunter
Sounds good. ;)

Hunter locked his phone and shoved it into his pocket. Eli glanced up at him as Hunter stood. Picking up his keys, Hunter waved to Eli.

"I gotta go meet up with Ash," He said. Eli was beginning to protest as Hunter walked away, but was shushed by the librarian who kept a hawk eyes glare on the two boys.

Hunter stood with his hands down his jeans pockets and waited. He was standing outside of Ash's last class. She was focused on the teacher, her slim wrist moving quickly across the page to get all the information she heard.

She looked to the door and spotted Hunter, her face beaming into a smile. She gave a small wave and turned back to the teacher who had closed his book and was finishing the lecture.

The bell rang and Ash was quick to leave the class room. Nearly running into Hunter, her arms wrapped around him.

"Hey!" Ash was in a good mood today. Hunter wanted her to stay this way.

"Hey," He gave a sideways grin. "How was class?"

"Ohhhh, y'know. A little bit of this, a little bit of that," Ash was making hand gestures to the left and right.

Hunter chuckled and grabbed Ash by the back handle an pushed her frail body down the hall into the courtyard. "Come on," he said, opening the gate that led to the parking lot.

Ash went through the gate and Hunter followed, his eyes trained on the sweat pants Ash was wearing. He knew what was under her clothes, and he also knew he was going to have to help her.
