"Yeah, or course I'll come over," Ash said into the phone, her hands focused on kneading the dough in front of her.

"Good," Hunter's raspy voice made Ash chuckle, her palm forcing the dough over. "What are you doing?"

"Baking," Ash said with a labored breath. She could feel the smile creeping up Hunter's face. "For Emily," she stated. She. Could hear the sigh Hunter pushed out.

"Right, should've known."

"Whatever," Ash stopped kneading and picked the dough up, her stomach grumbling as she began to roll the dough out.

"Look... Ash," Hunter cleared his throat. "How late are you staying. Tonight?"

Ash looked at the clock while she pat the dough softly. "Maybe Ten or twelve..." She said, looking back to the dough to spread the sugary textured filling across it.

"Right," Hunter voiced, he playing with his sleeve as Ash listened to him. "So, I'll see you later tonight?"

"In about and hour or so," She rolled the dough and began slicing, her hands shaky.

"Alright..."

"Bye, Hunter." She ended the call and set the phone down, her stomach grumbling in protest at not eating lunch or breakfast. She sighed as she laid the cinnamon rolls out on the pan and stuck them in the oven.

You don't need them.
