#3 Forever With The Good Girl
Chapter34: Under The Sea
*Jessica Knight*
"Rebecca?" I wanted to scream at her and demand her reasoning for being here, but my anger caught in my throat when she smiled a devious smile.
"Why do you look so surprised to see me, Jesse?" She questioned with a winning smile, happy that she found a way to get under my skin.
"It's just ... I thought Jake dropped all his whores." I replied, angered with her smile.
Her smile faltered for a split second. "If that were the case then you wouldn't be here, now would you?"
Jacob finally opened the door wider, an annoyed expression on his face. "Shut up, Rebecca." He pushed her out of the way and stepped in front of her. "What do you want?" He asked me.
Hearing the bitterness in his tone towards me made me cringe.
"I-I want to talk to you." I said.
He raised his eyebrows. "About what?"
"About what happened earlier."
"And what happened earlier?"
He wanted to me to say it out loud so Rebecca could hear. It was more so a test to see if I would say it aloud.
Rebecca watched me intently from behind Jacob. "I wanted to talk to you and apologize for taking off the ring you gave me."
"The engagement ring?"
Rebecca's eyebrows shot up.
"Yes, the engagement my ring. That would be the one."
He suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me inside. "I'll be in my room!" He shouted as he pulled me roughly up the stairs.
His grip on my arm began to hurt and a small whimper escaped my lips. He pushed his door open and pulled me inside. He slammed the door and turned to me. "You sure know how to piss me off Jess-"
I ignored him and pushed him into the door. "What the hell is she doing here?"
He looked taken aback at my actions but then towered over me. "That's irrelevant, right now!"
I raised my eyebrows at him and crossed my arms. "Okay, then answer me this first, are you having sex with her?"
His jaw dropped and his eyes grew wide. "What? No! No, I'm not having sex with her! What would make you ask such a ridiculous question?"
"Maybe the fact that she used to be one of your many booty calls."
He leaned against his door and shook his head at me. "You piss me off beyond words. You really do."
"Good."
He stared at me, his green eyes piercing through me with an unreadable expression.
We stared at each other before he angrily slammed his phone on his dresser and turned to leave. He yanked his door open but not before I slammed him into the wall and aggressively connected our lips.
"You're not leaving angry with me." I mumbled against his soft lips.
I remembered the night Jake confronted me about not telling him that I was moving back to Arizona. He was hurt, sad, and most of all, angered.
