Chapter 7.

What are you doing here?

Lee Jieun's POV.

I was playing with phone and having a blast watching a video through my smartphone when someone knocked the door.

" Who? " I asked, mom went into my sight frame and I raised my eyebrow at her, a signal asking what's the matter.

" Jieun, there's someone waiting for you. He said that he is your friend. " Mom explained while pointing at the stairs.

" Really? Wait, I'm coming. " I quickly reached the nearest sweater and put it on since I'm wearing only sleeveless shirt.

Who's coming this late night? I thought.

Wait, when did I have a friend and when did I tell someone our house's address? Who could it be? I walked down the stairs and tightly hug myself to cover my now cold body since the night itself was cold.

And what I saw was something unexpected, the heck was he doing here?!

Yes, Jeon Jungkook a.k.a dirty mind.

He was looking through the picture of me when I was small that was hanging on the wall. I made up a plan to walk to my room slowly before he realized my presence.

Wait a minute, I remembered something!

My glasses! I didn't put it on! I was about to turn around and walked away when suddenly. " Jieun, is that you? " Jungkook called out to me. My heart was beating so hard right know. Please just go away, Jungkook.

" No, an alien. Sorry you've got the wrong person " I quickly covered my face with my hair. I was grateful I kept my hair long all this time.

" Come on. I know it's you. " He continued.

I turned to him slowly and what I saw next made my blood boiling, there he was standing with a huge ass smirk plastered on his face.

Jeon Jungkook's POV.

We rode in a same bus since I didn't want to drive my car. I realized every single time when she walked to her home. She kept turning back like she was scared someone would follow her and that made me curious why she behaved like a suspicious kid. One day, I made up my mind to follow her and surprise, surprise.
She stopped in front of the huge gate and I saw a big mansion. So, our little nerdy was a filthy rich kid. Interesting, I wonder why she dressed like that even she was rich.

I pressed the bell then they asked me who I was and who am I meeting.

Well, I, Jungkook who was very good at everything, so I lied.

" I'm Jungkook. Jieun's friend. May I see her? I've some important things to talk to her. " I said calmly. First, a liar never stutters. Learn from a professional like me.

" What a surprise. She never brings any friends over. Well, come on in then. " The lady said and then the gate opened. I walked in. The house was fancy with the gold and white theme.

I saw a clone of Jieun but seemed a bit mature walking to me with a smile on her face.

I immediately greeted Mrs. Lee.

" It's pleasure to meet you. I'm so happy Jieun has a friend at school. I'm so worried if she's alone there. " complained Miss Lee. I put out my sweetest smile. The ladies always believe it.

" I'm happy to be friend with her but she doesn't like me. She always pushed me away before I could approach her. " I said with a sad face plastered on my face. I needed her mom to believe me first. You get the mother's favor first and you'll get the daughter later.

" I'm sorry to hear that, sweetheart. It's okay, in no time she'll like you. " Mrs. Lee said. I smiled hearing it.

" Thank you, Mrs. Lee. I hope so too. "

" Alright, can you wait a little bit? I'm going to call her. " She said and I nodded.

" No problem. " I replied.

Mrs. Lee climbed the stairs and I took a look at my surrounding. I'm excited to see her reaction. It's going to be hilarious. After a few minutes of waiting, I heard footsteps, there she is. My one and only Jieun.

I turned around and caught her trying to run away.

"Jieun, is that you. " I said, curious of what I'm going to see next.

" No, an alien. Sorry you've got the wrong person. " She said with a fake voice, what? I chuckled.

" Come on, I know it's you. " I said with a bored tone. If she thinks that I'm that fool enough to believe it then she is totally a weirdo. She turned to me slowly, now there was no turning back.

She looked totally different. I knew that I already saw her like this before but this time it felt so different.

" What are you doing here?! " She whispered and looked around, maybe a precaution because of her mother? I smirked.

" Just visiting a 'friend '. " I replied being playful.

She made a face.

" Stop making those ugly face. You're already ugly enough. " I turned my head slightly not making any eyes contact with her.

" Whatever, I think you should go home. It's already late and I don't want to know how you figure where my house is. " She said while walking away from me.

I grabbed her hand making she stopped from walking into her room back.

" I like you. "
