Krystina's POV

Malia and I were sitting in the art room with Lydia. While Malia was obsessively hovering, I was sitting at a table with my feet propped up. It was amusing to watch. Just as Lydia began to lift her pencil towards the sketchbook, Malia got close again.

"Please stop hovering!" Lydia snapped, her jaw clenched.

Malia blinked, "I'm not hovering. I'm waiting." The were coyote gestured towards the sketchbook. "Draw something. Write something. We need to know who else is on that list."

"You mean, you need to know if your on that list." Lydia rolled her eyes.

"If someone's coming to take my head off, then yeah I'd like to know."

Krystina sighed, blowing a stray hair out of her face. She was currently playing cup pong on her phone with Kol. He was with his brothers at the moment. He was also currently beating her at cup pong.

I looked up from my phone to see Malia still hovering over Lydia's shoulder. "Malia sit down."

Malia pouted and walked over to the chair beside me. She started to flip through a random book that was laying there.

"Lydia!"

"What?" The strawberry blonde let out a harsh breath, her annoyance towards the interruptions blatantly clear.

"Maybe we need help. From another banshee."

On the page that Malia had stopped on was a picture of a woman screaming.

"Meredith."

I met up with Scott, Stiles, and Kira in the boy's locker room. I had gotten a text from Stiles informing me that they found out that the killer is on the team. So, with quick goodbyes to Malia and Lydia, she hightailed it to the locker room.

She walked in to find the two boys pulling apart lacrosse sticks while Kira stood to the side and watched. She sat her stuff down by the door before joining Kira. The kitsune gave her a timid smile in greeting.

"This.... This is pointless." Scott rambled. "Most of the team plays with their own gear."

"Maybe instead of trying to find a lacrosse stick with a hidden dagger in it, we should be trying to get the game canceled?" Kira suggests.

"No," I started. "This would be the best way to find him."

"But what if he's red-handed 'cause his hands are covered in the blood of the person that he just stabbed to death?" Stiles questioned. "Which, by the way, could be one of you guys?"

"Or Liam." Scott whispered, a worried look taking over his face. "Well, we don't have the whole list and he could be on it."

Stiles sighed and leaned against the desk holding lacrosse sticks. "We don't know anything about the list. How it's made, how it's updated. I mean who's been out taking a supernatural census anyway?"

Kira fiddled with her fingers. "How do they even know about me?"

"They know about everyone." Scott muttered.

"I think Kira's right. We should stop the game." Stiles agreed to Kira's earlier statement.

"I'm not afraid." Scott stood there confidently.

"Neither am I."

Stiles and I shared a look as the lovers had a moment. I thought of my relationship with the Mikaelson brothers. Although we are mates, we haven't quite gotten to the romantic stage yet. I mean there have been little flirty moments here and there, but nothing else. My heart races every time I see them and I get the little butterflies in my stomach. However, I wanted to do this right. I don't want to just jump into because we are 'mates'.

"Well, I'm terrified and I'm not even on the list." Stiles' loud voice interrupted my thoughts. "Guys these are professional killers. It's their profession. One of them's got a thermal cut wire that cuts off heads. Who knows what else they have?"

The four of us were silent. Thinking over what Stiles said. I looked between the three of them before sighing.

"Look, if it helps I can ask Nik, Elijah, and Kol if they can come to the game later? More eyes to watch for the killer."

Scott looked at the other two before nodding. I gave a short nod and turned towards the door. I picked up my stuff and left.

After school, I stopped by the Mikaelson home.
I walked down the path leading to the front door. My palms got clammy the closer I got to the door, and my heart started to race. God, I haven't even seen them yet and I was already getting nervous. I stopped in front of the door and raised my hand. Just as my knuckles were about to make contact, the door swung open.

There stood Nik in all his glory. He stood there with a handsome smirk in his face and mischievous eyes. He wore dark jeans and a grey v-neck.

"How'd you know I was here?"

He chuckled, "Love, we could hear your heartbeat as you walked up."

"Oh." I whispered, a blush rising to my face.

He opens the door a little more, a silent invitation. I stepped inside, my shoulder brushing against his as I passed. After shutting the door behind me, he led me to the living room. Kol was laying on the couch with an arm over his eyes while Elijah stood by the window.

As soon as he heard my footsteps, Kol sat up and gave me a playful smile. "Darling, back so soon?"

I blushed again and averted my gaze only for it to catch Elijah's. The Noble Original was staring at her with a little smile on his face. My whole face had to be red at this point. I quickly took a seat beside Kol on the couch, Nik leaning against the armrest.

"So, what brings you to us today?"

I looked up at Elijah as he spoke, taking him in as he stood there. His smile got wider as he noticed her staring. "I- uh- we found out that the killer is on the team."

The three of them straightened at the revelation.

"The plan is to catch him red-handed tonight. At the lacrosse game."

"Are you going?" Nik asked, his brows furrowed. His voice held a tone of concern.

"Yeah, that's actually why I came here. I wanted to see if you guys would come with me. Mostly because I would feel more comfortable with you there as well as having extra eyes on the field." I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear as I awaited their response.

Kol spoke up from beside me. "Are you sure you want to be there? You could-"

I cut him off. "I won't get hurt. I'll have you there with me. I can't just leave my friends to handle it by themselves. Besides," I held my hand up and silver mist started to surround it. "I can take care of myself."

They all still expressed some hesitance in me going. But, after a moment they yielded. "Alright."

"Great!" I gestured to the door. "Shall we?"
