"Your brother is- was Nekoma's captain?"
"Yeah." You answered, not looking away from Sirius, a place where your brother belong, where he waits for you.
"Wow, he must've been a great teacher to you, too." Kageyama said, thinking back to the time when you two played together just yesterday.
You hummed in response.
"I-i'm sorry for your loss." He said after realizing you were still in deep grief. He turned his head to look at the stars, taking his yes off of you for once. He wondered how could that feel, losing your brother when he's been a part of your life since the start. He wished he knew you earlier than this, so that he could help you go through those sickening hard times and be the first one for you to spill out your problems to.
"Thanks.."
"I'm always here if you need me."
Kageyama smiled at himself as you side hugged him. He had never thought having you in his dreams would lead him to this very moment. He learnt a lot from you. Not academical, but heart lessons.
He didn't really care that much at the moment that the third clip of his thoughts joined the fading club with the first one. The only thing important to him was that he was right next to you, hugging each other lovingly.
A few seconds passed and you pulled apart. Laying your back again on the rooftop.
He thought you both were having a peaceful silence, with both your eyes staring at the sky. It made him smile wider. But his high expectation were ruined when he heard your soft snores.
Kageyama's first thought was to smack you from your sleep, hard enough to wake you up. No one can blame him. It's his natural instinct.
But as he thought longer about it, he chose to not wake you up at all. His eyes were glued on your fragile figure, admiring every part of you. He used his elbow and his lower body to support himself on a side position that simplified him to look at you.
Kageyama always liked how you looked inside and out. You were so easy to love, at least by him. All parts of you attracted him closer and closer to you. He even had no idea what to hate about you. However, there's this specific part he loved the most about you, and he was dying for it.
Your lips.
He stared at it for too long. Regreting his life desicions for not having the courage to kiss you, or tell you how much you mean to him. A wicked thought slide into his mind. And for this time, it took over him.
He slowly leaned in, moving his face closer to yours second by second, inch by inch. A soft kiss was gently planted on your lips, his lips pressed against yours for a quick second before eventually pulling out.
As a light sleeper, your eyes flickered open at the sudden sensation you just felt. You opened your eyes only to see the last view you saw before drifting off to sleep. The stars was still shining bright up there, and Kageyama was still laying beside you, with an idiotic smile spreaded across his face. It was dark, but you could slightly see his adorable blush due to how red he was.
"Did someone just kissed me or am i just delusional?" You asked with a frown formed on your forehead. You could have sworn you felt a pressure on your lips.
Kageyama startled hearing your voice, he had no idea you were already awake. "Whaaaat? Haha. Of course not. You were probably dreaming." He laughed awkwardly as he scratched the back of his neck.
"But it felt so real.." You looked up at the clear sight of the full moon as you thought more about what you were a hundred precent sure happened.
"Well i.. um.. i actually-"
You gave up on the topic at last, cutting Kageyama off. "I guess you got a point."
"And what were you gonna say?" You asked him while giving him an apologetic look at the same time.
"No, nevermind." He laughed again. You laughed along with him, at his lovable awkward self.
"So.. it's getting a little late." He started. "Maybe we should both get home."
"Oh, yeah." You grabbed his wrist that was resting on his lap and pulled it closer to your eyes. You narrowed your eyes at his pitch black watch, trying to focus your sight to correctly look at the time ticking. Almost six thirty.
"We better hurry." You stated as you got up, Kageyama tailed behind you.

"Our topics got pretty deep today." Kageyama said as he walked calmly next to you, taking each step in a collected way.
"Well.." You shrugged, raising your eyebrows upwards and pursing your lips.
After the two of you took a few more steps forward, you were already in front of Kageyama's house, the one painted in mostly dark grey and black. You stopped in your track and so does he.
"See you tomorrow, then?" He looked into your eyes as he said so. Your heart skipped a beat yet again, and it was because of him, again. You could stare at those breathtaking eyes anytime and it would never bore you.
"Yeah." You said, snapping back to reality.
He nodded and stared at you for a little while, just like what you were doing also. Then he gave you that one soft innocent smile, that drive you crazy everytime. His long delicate fingers took a strand of your hair that was covering your face, and put it behind your ear.
And oh, you were red as hell.
"Yeah-! Yeah, i-i should get going. Bye." He bit his lip and looked down at his shoes out of embarassment.
"Bye." You replied and walked your way back to your place. Completely not noticing those pair of black eyes on you, watching your every step, every movement.
Sure it sounds creepy, but that's just how it is. Can't blame a guy being head over heels towards you, can you?
