Ruby's P.O.V:
As I flinch I'm given the biggest surprise. They weren't angry at all! In fact they were happy I rescued those people, they may have died.
"Hopefully Hoppo saw it," Harries said.
"Yeah, you got potential!" Whippet laughs, I look at my feet and blush.
"Well sorry for dragging you all the way up here, I just want to give you this." Jesse says, giving me a sheet of paper on it that says LIFEGUARDS WANTED. I was about to say thank you when Hoppo arrived.
"Hey boys, who's this?" he says gesturing to me.
"Hey Hop, this is Ruby she rescued like 20 people in that rip over there," Jesse says
"Ah, so you were the one that did that," he says, "hey are you gonna try out for the team?" he asks. I nod and he says "Ok well see you tomorrow at the Icebergs then!" he says. TOMMOROW! I think, OH NO! I can't help but nod and leave.
"Wait!" Whippet shout after me, I already know what he is gonna say, "Where are your parents?" he says.
"Uhhhh," I say, everybody looking at me, "I live in an orphanage!" I say quickly and run.
Troy's P.O.V:
I was walking to the tower to clock on to the BEST JOB EVER,when someone bumps ito me. "are you OK?" I ask the stranger her face still hidden, when she looks up and I stop she is so beautiful. I am snapped out of my dream.
"Yeah I'm fine," she says, blushing, "what's your name?" she says.
"Huh?" I ask "Oh I'm Troy" I say kind of embarrassed.
"Cool, I'm Ruby," she says, shaking my hand and running. Dropping a flyer on the way.
"Oh, ahh Ruby, You dropped this!" I call after her. But she is already gone. I decide to look at it, wait this is a lifeguard poster. Yes! She wants to be a lifeguard! I may get to spen as long as I can with this beautiful girl. Lifeguarding is the BEST JOB EVER!
Ruby's P.O.V:
When I get to an allyway I stop. Oh no! I lost my poster! Great now how will I know where to go? I dropped everything to get here so I don't have a phone or a map. Today must be my lucky day as a map flys right by. I find the Icebergs swimming pool and begin the long walk over there. When I finally get there and shut my eyes. What a day!
