🔥 9 | Sacred Rest

Dear Holy Spirit,

Thank You for giving me the opportunity to rest.

You know what, God? I used to despise rest. I'm the kind of person who works a lot. Because if I don't, I feel useless and not committed enough.

I have a lot of things in my mind. Plans and goals to accomplish. I want to do a lot of radical works for Your Kingdom. But You made me realized that rest is also important.

Thank You for teaching me to balance my priorities. You don't let me carry such heavy burdens alone. You see right through my soul and the condition of my heart. My God, now I know... I also need some fixing.

You told me I'm not broken beyond repair. Your grace can still refresh me. I can still be replenished.

I'm well aware I can conquer lands and move mountains. But when the climb starts to get exhausting, when the journey starts to wear me out, you had to stop me.

It's not bad to pause for a while.
It's not bad to take a break.

King Jesus, I will enjoy this sacred moment of rest with You. I will take time to delight in Your presence. I will devote myself in Your word. I will seize every moment of worship. I will spend my time at Your feet like Mary.

Lord, let me adore You. Let me yearn for You. Let me notice every part of You. Let me appreciate every detail of Your face. Let me hold Your hand. Let me touch Your heart.

I want You so much, my King. Remain seated at the throne of my heart.
