Dear Holy Spirit,
I am closing every open door from the enemy that he may not gain access over my life again. The devil can no longer play with my mind. I am now more committed to the truth of Your Word. You know how much I struggle with discouragement, right? You are empowering me to overcome that this year. And I'm honored to do so.
Holy Spirit, You make me love Jesus every second of my life. Thank You for leading me closer to Him. Thank You for revealing me the depths of God. I had so much misconception when it comes to my Heavenly Father. I thought back then that He was angry at me every time I commit sin, or every time I fail to be excellent in ministry. That's why my heart is full of gratitude. You taught me that God is merciful, kind and gracious. You liberated me from my legalistic mindset. I never felt more freer than this right now.
My faithful Friend, I ask that You let Your fire burn away every idols in my heart. You know me well better than I do. I pray that You take away anything or anyone that takes the place of God's throne in my heart. You alone I worship. You alone are worthy. Occupy every space in my heart. Make me more like Jesus and less of myself.
How I love and enjoy Your presence. Let be more aware of You.
