When Linh says Sophie disappeared we race into the living room. Everyone one is in a panic about what could have happened.
" Guys Sophie was wearing my clothes!" I shout over the noise.
" Yeah we know so?" Keefe say.
" Woltzer has trackers sewn into my my clothes. Let's just check those." I reply heading up the stairs." Woltzer can you track the clothes Sophie's wearing?"
" Yes." He says walking away to grab something. " It says Sophie is at Havenfield." Woltzer says.
" Ok then let's go to Havenfield." Fitz says already running to the leapmaster. We all join hands and leap over. When we get there Grady and Edaline aren't there. Oh yeah that's right they are on assignment for the Council. We split up into groups. Me, Fitz, and Tam head up to Sophie's room to see if she's there while Dex, Linh, and Keefe went to check out by Calla's panakes tree.
" She's not here." Tam concludes after we search Sophie's entire room.
" I just transmitted to Keefe, she'd not by Calla's tree either." Fitz says. " I'm starting to worry. Wait did anyone check the caves."
" No let's go outside and tell the others." I say.
We walk out to the panakes tree, when Linh spots us she runs over. " Any other ideas of where she could be?" She asks.
" Well Fitz suggested the caves, but I'm not sure."
" Well it can't hurt to check." Keefe adds walking over to where we are.
" I guess." Dex mumbles. I feel bad he probably doesn't have the best memories there.
Linh probably sensing it to says "how about you three go check the caves while we check the pastures."
" Yeah great idea." Tam says.
" Thanks Linh." I hear Dex whisper in her ear.
" Hey it's no problem. Plus you are my boyfriend." She whispers back.
" Ok meet back here in ten minutes ok." Fitz instructs everyone already walking to the caves.
" Wait guys you can't get to the caves." DEx says stopping us.
" Why not?" Tam wonders.
" Because Grady and Edaline put a DNA lock on the gates so that only them and Sophie can open it."
" Oh well." Let's just check the pastures ." Keefe says.
We search all of them looking for Sophie. Only when I stop to take a break do I realize that Flori is missing. I go up to the house to see if she went to look there. I see her walking out of the kitchen and the she disappears, but I follow her footprints to a clearing in the middle of a grove of willows. Flori comes back into view and it seems like she's floating as she walks up something I can't see and disappears again. I'm looking for whatever it was she found and climbed up when all of a sudden a tree house appears in the middle of a beautiful fairy garden. I walk up the winding staircase and pass Flori on her way down.
" She's up there Biana. See if you can get her to tell you what's wrong she said she will tell me later when I said I would bring her Ripplefluffs. Would you like some too?"
" Thank you Flori and I will see what I can do."
" It's no problem Biana. Be careful."
