SOPHITZ Together at last

Fitz's P.O.V

I don't know what happened to Biana and Sophie, but they both just disappeared. We all went back to Everglen after looking for hours. We all decided to get some sleep. After everyone is asleep I sit up and I'm still thinking about it. I know something happened but I'm not sure what. I wonder if I did something? Or if someone said something to her? I fall asleep thinking about Sophie. I love her and it's killing me not knowing what happened to her. 

It couldn't be the Neverseen that took them for two reasons. One we defeated them 3 years ago. And two Sophie blocked me on purpose. So What's going on. I wake up and everyone else is already up. I walk downstairs and hear them talking about how all of the girls are missing.

" What? All of the girls are missing?" I ask.

" Yeah we woke up this morning and both Linh and Marella's sleeping bags were empty. We've tried hailing them but they're ignoring them." Tam says looking worried. He's going through the same thing as me. Both his sister and his girlfriend are missing just like me.

" Dex do you think you could track their registry pendants?" I ask him taking a bite of the mallowmelt my mom left us.

"  I tried it said they are at Havenfield. We were about to come wake you up so we could go look for them when you came down."

" Sophie's and Biana's too?" 

" Yeah." Keefe says his voice flat. A rarity. 

" Ok let's go." I say standing up and heading for the door.

" Umm aren't you forgetting something?" Tam asks pointing to my pajamas.

" Oh yeah meet you guys at the gates in five minutes. Ok?"

I race up the stairs to my room and through on a pair of trousers and a tunic. Then race back down the stairs and out to the gates. We leap to Havenfield and start our search. All of Sophie's body guards join the search except for Flori and Sandor. That's strange. Sandor and Flori are the two most concerned about Sophie's safety out of all of her bodyguards. I walk over to the little gnome.

" Flori why aren't you looking for the girls? Aren't you worried about them?" I ask her looking at the little gnome.

" No I'm not worried about them because I know where they are." She says sharing a look with Sandor.

" What about you Sandor how come you're not searching with everyone else?"

" Because I trust Flori's word and she told me where they are. Now if you'll excuse me Mr. Vacker I have to go talk to Mr. and Mrs. Ruewen." At that he leaves.

" Flori you know where the girls are can you take me to them?" 

" No Fitz I'm sorry but I can not." She says.

" Why not?"

" Because they are at a place very special to Sophie and she asked that I not tell anyone where it is. The only reason Biana is there is because she followed me when I brought Sophie her food. And Linh and Marella didn't even know where we were going until they were there. So I'm sorry." Then she leaves and goes inside.

I hide in the shadows and when Flori comes out of the house with a tray I decide to follow her. In the next three step she vanishes. What just happened I didn't know gnomes could vanish. She still leaves footprints in the fresh grass. I follow them and Flori comes to a stop in a grove of trees. She blinks back into sight and it looks like she's floating and the she disappears. In a few minutes she comes back out with no tray. There must be like a hidden tree house up there. 

After Flori leaves I spend an hour looking for the staircase Flori used. After that I give it up as a bad job and walked back to the others. " Hey guys I think I found the but I can't tell because they're using some sort of cloaking device to hide the tree house." I tell them once I get back to where they're all still looking.

" The tree house of course!" Dex exclaims. " That's why we don't know where they are."

" Wait you knew about this tree house and didn't say anything?" Tam asks.

" Dude that could have saved us hours!" Keefe yells.

" Well I knew of the existence of the tree house because Sophie asked me to make some tech for it but I don't know where it is and before you ask even now that I know where it is I can't uncloak it because that's not one of the thing s she asked me to do. When I asked she said she was going to use the same Black Swan cloaking devise they used on that cave you and her visited." Dex tells Keefe trying to make sure they all knew there wasn't really anything they could do.

By the time we finally gave up it was 6:30. Just then there was a loud crack of thunder. That's Sophie's teleporting. " Hey now we can track their pendants now right?" 

" Yeah. I'll get right on that." Dex says already on a device that looks suspiciously like an imparter. " They're in the Forbidden Cities. At a place called Avalon."

" I know what that is that's a night club in L.A." I add thinking why are the girls at a night club in L.A?

" Ok let's get dressed up and go." Keefe says back to himself
