SOPHITZ Together at last

Sophie's P.O.V

I love dancing. Up on the stage I feel alive. Like nothing matters not Fitz not anything. When I finished dancing I move off the stage to stand in line with the other people dancing in the competition. We stand in a line in front of the stage waiting for the man to come back and announce the winner.

There he is. " Ok the judges voted ad it was unanimous. The winner of our dance contest is Sophie Foster." I walked onto the stage shook the man's hand took the trophy from him. Everyone clapped, I smiled and blushed a little. I walked off the stage and over to the girls.

"  Here Biana will you hold this while I go change back into my dress?" I ask her grabbing my bag and handing her the trophy.

" Yeah sure. Hurry back." She calls as I walk away.

" I will," I call back to her over my shoulder. I walk into the bathroom and change back into the dress I had on earlier. When I come out I have the crop top and leggings shoved in my bag. I walk back to my friends.

" Oh my god Sophie you were amazing." Linh says.

" Yeah you were awesome." Biana adds.

" You  said you weren't any good. Why did you lie to us?" Marella teases me.

" I didn't think I was very good." I tell them truthfully. 

" Well I think we can safely say that you are an amazing dancer. We even have a whole club full of people who agree." Biana tells me draping an arm over my shoulders. 

Then a group of four bays walk up to us. " Hey." The one in the lead says. " We saw you dance, you're really really good."

" Thanks." I smile.

" Mw and my friends were wondering if you and your friends would like to dance with us?" One of the other guys asks.

" Guys what do you think?"

" Why not."

" Sure."

" Lets go dance."

" Yeah lets go dance." I tell the boys. " Hey what are your names?"

" Well my name is Gryson," the boy in the lead says. " and these are my friends Liam, Aex, and Keo."

" Well it's nice to meet you guys. Now let's go dance!" Marella yells pushing us to the dance floor.

" Oh these are my friends Marella, Linh and Bian." I tell the boys pointing to each one in turn.

" And your name don't forget your name." Linh whispers in my ear.

' Thank you.' I transmit to her. " And my name is Sophie."

" Yeah we know your name they said it when they said you won the dance contest." The boy called Liam says.

" Oh yeah I forgot about that." I giggle nervously. 

Time skip- Like the three minutes they're dancing with those boys

We're back at the food table talking about what I'm going to do for the party Edaline and Della are throwing. Like am I going to go without Fitz, am I just not going to go. We don't know yet. When Biana gasps and points.

" What?" Linh asks her then when she looks to where Biana is pointing she gasps too.

" What is it?" Me and Marella ask at the same time. We look over their shoulders to see what they're looking at. Marella sees it and gasps, it takes me a moment but I see it too. It the boys. They're here.

" OK lets go to the treehouse they can't find us there." I say.

" Where are we going to leap from? This place is packed and the boys are by the door." Marella points out. Dang it. 

" Wait." Linh calls. " Do you see the other boys? Over in front of the door I only see Keefe and Tam."

" No. I don't." Biana admits.

" Me either." Marella calls.

" Wait two things that means the others are here somewhere and two Keefe and Tam are standing with each other and they haven't torn each other to shreds yet." I observe.

" What now?"

" Umm do we have an obscurer?" Marella asks.

" No." Biana says. " Our goal tonight was to be seen and party so no one brought one.

" The we're stuck." Linh whines.

" Yep."

" Maybe not. I don't think the boys know we saw them, or at least two of them. So is we go dance with someone and while we're dancing we end up behind them maybe just maybe we can get out of here." Biana schemes. 

" You know what that might work. Quick everyone go find someone to dance with." Marella yells in our faces.

I walk over to a cute boy standing by DJ booth. He has brown hair and bright blue eyes. " Hi."

" Hi." He say.

" Would you like to dance?" I ask him sweetly. Smiling and trying to hide my panic.

" I doubt I could be as good as you."

" What?" I'm confused.

" I saw you dancing on stage. You are really really good did you know that?"

" Thank you but I'm not that good." I blush and try to hide it by covering my face with my hair.

" Yes you are. You were amazing up there and yes I will go dance with you."

" What's your name? I mean you already know my name." um. I'm stuttering what's happening.

He laughs. " My name's Maybeck."

" Well then hello Maybeck." I curtsy. He laughs again.

After our dance we are right behind the boys. My imparter starts ringing. " Oh that's my friends I'm so sorry Maybeck I have to go."

" That's okay. Maybe I'll see you around."

" Yeah maybe." I whisper under my breath so he can't hear me.

I meet the girls in the alley behind the club pull out my special leaping crystal that will leap us directly to the treehouse, I hold it up and away we go.

A/N- So I'm so sorry if these get a little more infrequent I have school starting tomorrow so I have a lot to do. But I will try to update as much as I can. This chapter's a little longer than the others to make up for the fact that the one before it was shorter. As always thank you for reading my story and stay safe.
