Switch P.O.V

Fitz's P.O.V

What. Where did they go? 

" Boys!" I shout. They come over. " Where did they go.''

"I don't know buddy."  Keefe tells me looking around. 

" Dex what do their rings say?" Tam asks.

" Umm. Ugg. They're back at the treehouse."

" How do you... you know what nevermind. What are we going to do now? We can't find that treehouse." I complain.

" Well we could go back to the clearing and look around until we find it?" Keefe suggests.

" No that won't work." Dex tells him.

" Why not?" 

" Because unless you know exactly where it is and how to find it then it's a lost cause. But"

" But what?"  We ask in unison. 

" If we look around we might be able to find an uncloaking button. Or we could just wait for Flori to lead us there." 

" I say let's go to the clearing and look around and if we see Flori then we can wait until she goes and follow her. We'll need an obscurer." I instruct everyone.

*** Sophie's P.O.V ***

We leap back to the treehouse and walk inside as soon as I am inside I fall to the floor and start crying.

" Oh Sophie." Biana rushes over to hug me, closely followed by Linh and Marella. " I am so so so sorry." 

" I . . . am . . . so . . . stupid." I hiccup between sobs. " Why . . . did I. . . ever think . . . I could have a  . . . happy life." 

" Oh no Sophie. You are not stupid. And you are the person who deserves a happy life." Linh soothes.

" Yeah Fitz is the idiot." Marella chimes in.

" Ok. But just so you girls know I am not going to that party."

" Fair enough." Biana conceedes. " So what now." 

" Oo I have an idea, have you ever heard of hide and seek?"

" No what's that?" Linh asks.

I explain the rules and we all decide that it is a great idea. " Ok we have to stay in this grove of trees though okay?" 

" Yeah. I'll count." Marella offers.

" Okay. ready set go!"  I yell.

Fit's P.O.V

We leap to Havenfield and walk to the Grove of trees. We see the girls walk out of the treehouse and run down the invisible stairs. Marella stops at the bottom and starts counting. The other girls run away in all directions. I follow Sophie, Tam follows Biana, and Dex follows Linh. Keefe walks up to Marella. 

I follow Sophie. She runs to a big Willow tree and ducks under the branches. I duck under in time to see her climb almost all the way to the top and hide in a nook that looks like it would be a good spot for sleeping or a good place to ambush her.

I levitate to the branches below her as climb up to the book I saw her hide in. Wow it is hard, and I'm only climbing up two branches. Sophie claimed up the whole entire tree. I look into the book to find it empty. I go in and see what looks like an Imp's old house with a tunnel leading somewhere else. With a start I realize that this must have been Iggy's home before Sophie took him in. I crawl into the tunnel and when I reach the end I find a dip in the branches with Sophie lying stretched out on a blanket her blond hair spread out like a halo behind her head.
