SOPHITZ Together at last

Sophie's P.O.V

What Fitz is still with that girl. I knew he had had a secret girlfriend for a while, but he's still with her. why was I so stupid. After I talked to Biana I felt bad about it. When Biana and Tam went to get drinks and everyone else starts talking to each other, I vanish and sneak outside and teleport to Havenfield into my bedroom. I start to walk to my bed but turn around and walk to my desk and collapse into the chair. I pull my ipod and earbuds out of the drawer and started to blast music. Then my imparter starts buzzing. It was Tam. Maybe they thought I was more likely to answer him or maybe they just had his, it doesn't matter I'm not answering any of them. As I think this I realize this is the first place they will look for me so I teleport to my secret treehouse surrounded by my fairy garden. No-one knows this exists but Flori and she promised never to tell anyone. I sit in the tree house for a good twenty minutes before Flori sticks her head up through the trap door.

" Hey Flori." I say flatly.

" Hi Sophie. Are you ok?" She asks softly her eyes filling with concern.

" No. But I'm physically fine. Did you bring anyone else with you?" I ask. Silently begging her to say no.

" No. Everyone said you went missing at Everglen and that you weren't your room. And sense you're in Biana's clothes we checked Wolitzer's trackers and they couldn't get a place just said Havenfield. So everyone has been searching for the better part of a hour. Then I remembered that we made this place to be untraceable so I snuck away to check." She says explaining what happened.

" Thank you Flori. So much." I say flopping back down on the carpet we made.

" Sophie would you mind me asking." Flori says sitting down next to me. " What is wrong?"

" It's ok Flori. I'm fine really."

" I don't think you are. You only come here when you're really upset and don't want anyone to find you. But if you don't want to tell me that's ok too. I just have one question. Do you want me to stay or leave?" She asks.

I'm not sure if I want her to stay or leave. " How about you go tell the others I'm ok and then do you think you could bring me some food. I don't want to be found and well the kitchen is a pretty easy place to be found?" I say still not sure if that was rude.

" No problem Sophie. I'm here for you. What do you want to eat? Oh and I brought this guy with me." Flori hand me Iggy's cage with him in it.

" Thank you Flori. And it doesn't matter what you bring me." I tell the little gnome. She smiles and disappears through the door. 

After Flori leaves I lay down on the flowered carpet and turn my music back on. A few minutes I hear Fitz's voice in my head. I block him so that I can still hear him he just can't track me, it's a skill Tirgan taught me. 

Sophie where are you Flori came back and said that you were fine but wouldn't tell us where you were

I ignored him and went over to her bookshelf and found one of my favorite books from when I lived with humans The Crooked Kingdom. The first one was called The Six Of Crows. I walk over to the beanbag chair in the corner and start to read. Ten minutes later Flori appears in the doorway. 

" Woa. How did you do that?" I ask. Still dazed at how she just appeared.

" It's a trick the gnomes use so we're not seen. I had to use it to sneak past your friends." She trails off.

" Is there someone there Flori?" I ask.

" Yes. It seems Biana followed me but she can't see the treehouse would you like me to uncloak it?" Flori said.

" Is it only Biana?" 

" Yes. And I'm so sorry she must have followed the footsteps."

" It's ok Flori, you didn't mean for it to happen it just did. Sure you can uncloak the treehouse. Also sorry if this sounds rude but, what food did you bring?" I ask smiling.

" It's not rude at all Sophie I know you were hungry. I brought you Starkflower stew and some Mallowmelt." She says lifting the lid off of each tray.

" Thank you Thank you Thank you." I say hugging the little gnome.

"No problem Sophie I'm going to go. Biana's coming up the stairs see you later. If you want to sleep here just press the green button and a bed will appear and sense you already have Ella then you should be good."

" Thanks again Flori." I call to the gnome as she walks down the spiral staircase. At that moment Biana walks into the treehouse.
