“I’m never drinking again,” I smiled shaking my head as I strolled towards office.

“Don’t make resolutions you can’t keep,” Niall advised.

“That was one hell of a night.”

“You talked the most, I guess,” he chuckled.

“Don’t remind me.”

“It was nice, I never laughed so much in my life,” he mocked.

“Shut up and also it was wrong for you pay the whole bill,” I nagged as I took a right turn.

“I told you that it was on me. Can’t I pay for a night-out with my girlfriend?”

“But Niall, it’s unfair.”

“I earn now so you can’t say that it’s unfair, alright?” he demanded.

I smiled before saying, “Okay, I owe you big time then.”

“You know how to compensate that?” I could sense the naughty tone in his voice.

“You’re a beast, bye.”

“I love you,” he laughed.

“And I hateeee youuuu, now bye,” I laughed back before hanging up as I reached Orient.

I didn’t remember anything about that night after Niall dropped me until my apartment. I woke up the next day at noon having a deadly hangover. I had no energy left to cook hence; I ordered food from outside. Later in the evening when I called up Niall, he described to me the ‘most hilarious day of his life’.

“Tell me what I did, please,” I sobbed.

“Okay to start with you drank ten cocktails and then four tequila shots,” he was cut.

“I remember that, tell me what I don’t know,” I lied on the couch on my back.

“Well, you practically passed comments on every person present at the bar. You talked about their complexion, size, hair, dress, and everything,” he couldn’t stop laughing.

“What?” my life flashed before my eyes.

“Yeah,” he almost choked laughing. “There was this woman who was really, really fat and….oh my God, and you tried to help her by pulling the chair. And….and she fell down,” he laughed his lung out.

“And you didn’t stop me?” I screamed with wide-apart eyes.

“I did but you pushed me away so hard that I almost fell down from the stool,” I laughed at his reply making loud noises.

“I pushed YOU away?” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

“Yeah, darling. You acquired some inevitable power that night.”

“Then?” I coughed.

“You introduced me to the whole crowd and tried to make out wildly but I somehow stopped you.”

I covered my mouth and sighed loudly.

This is so not me.

Niall continued, “I took you to your apartment and opened your shoes. I carried you to your room and lied you down before leaving.”

I smiled for a good few seconds and then responded, “You could’ve stayed with me and not left me alone.”

“Baby, I didn’t want to be a troublemaker. I knew you would be okay once you wake up.”
