I passed Niall the train ticket. He grabbed it with a smile, and put it inside his laptop bag with all the other documents that we might need for security purpose both on train, and hotel.

He sighed, and said, "All's set," browsing his eyes over a small suitcase, and another hand bag I packed for my own things.

"Yes," I hummed, nodding my head.

He stood up, and walked towards me, taking a seat beside me in bed. Wrapping an arm around my shoulder, he asked, "Are you excited?" His voice sounded very calm, and composed.

His breath was fanning over the crook of my neck, producing shudders through my body. Strangely, it didn't give me the old feeling where I felt butterflies in my stomach at one touch of his skin on mine instead it caused me to get uncomfortable. The cheated feeling was still fresh in my mind.

"Yes," I nodded, breaking our touch.

He got embarrassed, and immediately moved his arm away from my shoulder. "I'm sorry, if you felt uncomfortable."

I swallowed, and didn't answer back, walking to the sitting area. The wall-clock informed that it was 1.00 Pm. As we were leaving after sometime, I thought of resorting to instant noodles for lunch.

"Do you want to eat instant noodles?" I asked as Niall followed me to the kitchen.

"As you wish, I'll eat anything you make," he smiled.

"That's not answering my question. Tell me what you want, I'll make that."

He paused for awhile before saying, "Instant noodles sound fine."

"Okay," I muttered, picking the required utensils, and commencing to make instant noodles.

Niall stared at me for a few seconds. I knew what he was thinking, but I couldn't have offered him anything more than this. Maybe never, maybe for now.

Anyway, the lunch went as silent as last night's dinner. Horribly silent. I caught Niall peeking at me constantly from the corner of my eyes, but avoided locking our sight. The expressions in his blue eyes would've provoked me to break the wall that had been created between us. And I knew that I wasn't just ready.

After the lunch, Niall told me firmly that he'll wash the dishes, and I let him do it.

"When should we leave for Sehaldhah station?" Niall asked after he was done with the washing.

In normal situation I would've laughed out loud at his Irish pronunciation of "Sealdah," but this time I didn't. It attracted his attention though. "Did I pronounce it right?" he inquired.

"Whatever," I cut off any chance of further conversation. "We should leave at 5.45 Pm."

He looked at me a little longer than normal, and asked, "Okay. What will you do now?"

"I've been meaning to write for quite a few days now, probably I'll do that," I walked past him to the bedroom.

"That's great, Lily," he followed me.

I didn't respond.

"I'm very happy with your decision. You should write," he added.

"I needed an emotional lift up be it happy or sad. All thanks to you, I found that lift up," I chuckled, fetching a diary from the drawer of a night stand that I brought almost a week ago from office.

This time I caught a glimpse of his face, and it appeared terrible. His reaction proved that he was hurt, maybe more than me, and also due to my constant indifference towards him. However, I was helpless.
