Niall has been acting up the last few days. He seems to think that him and Louis are in an actual relationship and to avoid getting hurt, Louis just went with it. He had no idea what the hell was going on in that crazy head of his, but he just wants it all to stop. It even got worse when Harry asked him about it after school on Friday.

"Are you happy to finally be on thanksgiving break, Lou?" Harry asked as he was packing everything up. He had tests to grade and the PowerPoint projects as well. After that project, Louis decided he would never pair up with Niall ever again.

"Of course I am! But a little sad because no school means no learning." Louis pouted. Harry chuckled and slung his messenger bag over his shoulder, grabbing Louis' hand and walking towards the door. The lights were turned off and they made their way out of the room.

"We can practice over break, silly goose." Harry spoke as he closed the door and walked down the hall with Louis following close beside him. "But Lou? I've noticed Niall being really close to you in the hall. I was just curious, but are you dating Niall?"

Louis' eyes widened at the question. No, he wasn't dating Niall. He was just going along with everything because he didn't want to get "punished." What was Niall even capable of doing? He's only eleven for gods sake.

Louis sucked in a breath and shrugged. "I guess." He felt so stupid for lying, especially to Harry. And so weak for not standing up for himself to Niall.

"Should've told me. But hey, if you're happy, then I'm happy."

But I'm not happy.

"But anyways, you get to meet my family next week." Harry changed the subject, which Louis was thankful for. He was excited to meet Harry's family but what about his own? He wants to see Lottie sometime, as well as his grandmother.

"When do we leave?" He asked as the two walked out of the school.

"We leave next Tuesday. Why?"

Louis sighed sadly and laid his head on Harry's arm as they walked through the parking lot. "I want to visit my grandmother. She's in the hospital."

He felt an arm wrap around his shoulder, hand no longer being held by Harry and he was pulled close to the man's body. He snuggled his head into his side, sniffling at the thought of his grandmother.

"Why? Is she okay?" Harry asked, frowning at the sudden sadness that had overtaken Louis.

"She has some type of cancer.. I dunno.." Louis shrugged, sounding like he didn't really wanna talk about it.

"Well yeah we can visit her on Sunday, how's that?" Harry rubbed the boys shoulder, kissing the top of his head as well. Louis only nodded and stayed silent. Harry left it at that.

Louis ended up staying in his room when they got home. He decided, to make himself feel better, he would make note cards out of the vocabulary list Harry had given him. While doing that, he had the tv on and watched Drake and Josh, one of his favorite shows.

He was starting to go through the note cards until Harry's voice was heard from downstairs, "Louis someone's calling you on your phone."

He must've left it downstairs. He was hoping it was someone other than Niall because he was really sick of the boy. He always called like right after school, and talked about the most stupidest stuff that Louis didn't even care about. Sometimes Niall would just talk and talk and never stop, and when he did that, Louis would just set the phone down and complete the rest of his homework. Niall would never notice.

He quickly got up and raced down the stairs, grabbing the phone from Harry who was nice enough to answer it for him. "Hello?" He should've looked at the caller ID first; his face fell when he heard the familiar Irish accent.
